Amazing water colour pens
I have a thing for spectrum noir pens, I have the illustrator set, the aqua set and the tri blend set and, try as I might, I can't fault them. At all. Usually some of the pens turn up dried out when I have brought other sets in the past, but these were perfect. The technique takes a little practice but when you get it right the results are really smooth. I reccomed using a really good quality 300gsm water colour paper or the full vibrancy of the watercolour inks is muted. Also if you have one use a glass media mat for mixing the inks, some really cool effects can be made. Have fun with these pens they are quite awesome. Amazon also sell the single pens if one of them runs out so you don't have to buy a whole pack.

Highly recommend
I needed a fine nib pen and these have that and a brush end to . I used the brush end alone then I brushed some onto my glass mat and added a little water. I really liked the way you can blend and make the colour soft or strong. The nib end is great for fine stamps and adding detail. I bought the Nature and the Floral sets and will get the others. Amazon was the cheapest price on the net and fast delivery.

I love these pens!
I wasn't sure about these pens at first, having always used water colour pencils. However, when I used them they were great, and the colours were vibrant, hence the five stars. I rubbed them on my glass mat and added a little water from my water pen, and believe me, they go a long way. I only got a pack of twelve this time but I will be buying others in the range.

The brush tips are flimsy and the burgandy colour is awful
While for the most part they were nice to use. The brush tip seemed weak and flimsy, though it is mostly stiff the tip of the brush side is flexible but this makes it seem easy to break with regular use. The colours are almost all nice, and don't appear very streaky the burgandy has a disgusting brown on top of it, like some pigment/dye separation, which is a shame. The colours react okay with water, they don't fully dissolve. The burgandy however when mixed with water activates mostly the brown pigment and can make a dark brown colour.

Excellent markers
Love these markers. Had all the rest of the colours so needed to complete the set. Good quality, last for ages. Even with the conversation rate from sterling to euro was way cheaper buying through amazon. So delighted

Great pens.
These are great pens but are quite expensive. The only problem is they don't come in very many colours unless you buy the whole package!

Expensive but worth it
This is a Christmas gift, but I have used spectrum noir products before, and, although they are expensive they are worth the money
