Very easy to fit these.Only tip I would give is set the new lever to 1 and make sure the chain is on the low gear (1) when tightening up the cable. A gentle pull on the cable is sufficient when tightening the hex nut as it is easy dial in later. Same applies if you're fitting a new 7/8 gear lever.Having the lever set on 3 and the chain on a low gear (1) will result in your cable tension being out which in turn means the level won't move the front derailleur correctly.Hope this helps.

Doesn't work very well
If you're looking to shift gears, you are better off reaching down and pulling the chain onto other gears yourself. This offers no grip, too much tension, basically worthless except for the first 5 minutes while your hands are nice and dry and strong.
