Personal Alarm for Elderly and Dementia With SOS Button, Fall Alarm and 2-way Voice Calling – Dedicated UK App for Family Peace Of Mind (4g)

Got this for my 98 year old mother who lives 90 miles away. She is very independent but this device has given us peace of mind. It was so easy to set up and I can see when she puts the pendant on charge and when she puts it on again. I can see where she is moving around in the house. Because it also works on GPS if any signal gets weak I can track where she is whilst out shopping or hospital and doctor visits. If she were to have a fall it immediately contacts me without her hitting the SOS button. If you assign other emergency contacts it will then ring round in a loop until someone picks up and mum can speak directly to them thru the pendant. It really is a fantastic device and the after sales service with Stuart has been second to none. The phone signal in my mums area was very poor and they replaced the sim in the pendant and it is now working well. The battery life in incredible. Thanks to Locàite and Stuart for everything. Without this device I would not be able to give my mum the independence she is having and deserves as she is still capable of living on her own with the help of friends and family members around her.

Its just amazing, it does everything I need it to do. My father has dementia, and it tracks him, allows me to call him, lets him press an sos button if he needs to, and is just overall brilliant. The best feature by far for me is that I can call without him having to do anything - the device will just answer by itself! The microphone and speaker are good and clear. I have had this for many months now and wanted to wait to write a review. They are a subscription based service which is something like 7.99 a month - the cheapest one I have found so far! I cannot overstate how happy I am to have found this device for both my parents. It offers much peace of mind. A couple of criticisms: sometimes the location can go from one place to another place very quickly, like it is glitching out a bit - but it will always come back to their location. Another point is that I would like to be able to rotate the map when viewing their location, and if it is at all possible - it would be so nice to have a satellite image overlay. That would make it perfect. So it is as near to perfect as can be - the battery life is phenomenal too. I have suggested this to the ambulance driver who came on a callout and they were very surprised and pleased by its functionality. More people with elderly parents/dementia patients/people unable to use technology should be made aware of this product - it is criminal that I had to actually search amazon quite hard to come up with this gem of a GPS device. I bought this product for my father who suffered dementia. It monitors 24/7 and with an SOS button which calls emergency contacts. It's just fantastic for safety and my piece of mind. The company is highly communcative and the response for any queries or problems is extremely professional and helpful. My father liked to press the SOS button so as he resided in a full time care home I arranged to have the SOS stopped as he would call emergency contacts at all times of the night. I received 2 monitor for his room as the care home did switch off the charging base, which gives a false readings if turned off from the base. My father's pendant was washed with clothes by mistake but the company immediately sent me a new pendant with a discount. Fantastic...I also ordered the arm strap so as the pendant would not get lost as care team would check daily.. I can't thank the locaite team and and Stuart enough for their excellent service for a very good product. The price is very decent for safety and I would recommend this product to anyone who who needs a family member to be safe. Thank you Locaite and Stuart for your help and quick communication. This tracker has been in use for a couple of weeks now and here are my observations. If the user has dementia they will need someone to keep it charged. The charge actually last only one or two days at maximum. You need a good EE phone signal for it to work properly. When I was testing the unit in Uttoxeter EE is patchy and often had a low signal. In actual use in Taunton the same problem occurs, often there is a low mobile network signal warning. It would be nice if you could choose the network provider with the strongest signal in the area it is being used in. Overall it is a good system but needs a bigger battery.

I bought this alarm so that my disabled wife can contact me both at home and if I am away. Initially I was concerned that my wife might have problems activating the alarm and I might not be contacted. I sent an email to Locaite on Sunday afternoon, not expecting a response before the next working day. Within a few minutes I received a reply and they could not have been more helpful. Remotely Locaite was able to make the necessary modifications to suit our needs. You could not have asked for better service. It’s a brilliant personal alarm that can communicate with multiple emergency contacts just by pressing the SOS button. It’s well built, has a wide range of functions, is easy to use and represents great value for the money.

I purchased this because my wife has Alzheimer's and has recently shown a tendency to "wander", and I needed something to track her location if necessary, and also specifically to alert me if she left a defined area (often known as a geo-zone). I had experimented with Apple Air Tags, and Tiles, and also with an expensive watch, but none of them were up to the task of alerting me when she a left a pre-determined zone of 50 m. diameter centred on the house. (The watch had the facility to do this, but only at a minimum of 300 m.; the Apple AirTag and The Tile products were frankly useless, with a range only a fraction of that promised - all returned). Delivery by Amazon to me in Spain was quick and exactly when promised. Most of the set-up process, done through an app available on IOS or Android was straightforward - I did run into a small problem with setting the home location of the device, but a chat with their technical support in the UK quickly and immediately solved the problem. The device meets my requirements perfectly. I can set up multiple geo-zones, down to a minimum radius of about 50m. The tracking function, in conjunction with the app, works brilliantly. I have tested the SOS function, and the fall alert function, and both work perfectly and exactly as described. I really cannot recommend this product too highly at the moment- this is written less than a week after receiving it, so I will update in future if I have any significant change of opinion, which I very much doubt. I must update my previous post. Had a technical problem with the original product, but the company have been just wonderful in helping me resolve that with no hassle or stress, and great communication. A thoroughly excellent organisation to deal with, and I still think the product itself is superb.

This is a wonderful piece of kit. It does exactly what you want it to do. The calling feature is great, it's like having a mini phone around your neck. There is also a tracking feature which shows their position on a map. The set up is painless and easy to do. Also the after sales service is brilliant, any problems or questions and Stuart will get back to you, normally on the same day and within hours. I would recommend.

Peace of Mind is what this gives me. My mum has dementia and also had a fall recently (she does not live alone) but someone cannot be there 24-7, so we wanted something more personal as a care alarm for her, as she would not press the button on her old care alarm as it would connect to strangers. This connects directly to us - her family. She seems much happier with this and wears all the time. Also it warns when battery low, if she had a fall it would re-act and ring me as well. I feel so much better than my mum has this device. Great device I have recommended to friends already. Worth every penny
