As described, robust tool box. Fairly deep tray can take screwdrivers etc., leaving main box for larger tools. Lad catch very good and has padlock facilities. Much better than cheaper unit I returned when received broken.

I write this review based on decades of experiences as a property owner and DIY er.The case is a very reasonable cost especially when compared to the high street and as I am a “prime member” prompt posting and delivery is included.There is no indication as to cost fo non prime members.The case meets the stated length. I saw nothing about height or width but ‘‘this case Is much bigger than I expected.It has the expected black and yellow colouring and is made from a heavy moulded plastic.Open the lid and there is a sectioned lift out tray in which bits and pieces could be organised such as boxes of dowels, wood plugs and screws along with small hand tools.Lots of room underneath which will handle an endless variety of whatever you wish obviously restricted by size.The hinging and snap catches are sturdy and overall the case will give many years of service if treated properly.The case is as I said sturdy. With a comfortable carrying handle bOverall, a good buy and storage solution at an affordable cost

This is my 3rd box from Stanley, unfortunately I stood on the locking clasp of the one I use for my gardening tools. This one has an old style metal clasp. Theirs plenty of room for all my tools plus two handy compartments on top.I've marked it down because it can tend to tip over when the lid is openOverall a great toolbox and good value for money.

I’ve got the 24” version of this box plus two other 19 inch Stanley tool boxes. All of them have lugs on the lid hinges which prevent it opening all the way to the floor. If this happens the contents in the lid compartments can force their lids open and fall out. The box delivered to me was missing these lugs, though there is evidence that they should be there. The moulding process probably failed to make them properly. I returned the box for a refund fearing that a replacement would be the same.These boxes from Stanley are normally very well made but the range is vast with varying quality and prices. The 2000 Series boxes, like this one, is normally good quality and value.

Good sturdy tool box - I am using this to hold my pottery tools, plenty of space with the two small compartments on the top holding the small fiddly tools. Perfect for use.
