Love it but not perfect. I'd buy again.
This is a great idea and a well made product. The seller was great and emailed me how to beat use the product. The included instructions show how to use it; however, with that method (everything stacked on each other), it takes forever for ice to freeze. Using the ice trays like traditional trays (not stacking them and putting them in the freezer side by side) let the cold get to the trays and the water would freeze quickly. Actually quicker than normal trays because the cubes are smaller. About those small cubes, I love them! A normal ice tray often times gives me cubes that are big. You don't have much choice but to use it but this guy makes smaller cubes and it's perfect for getting the right amount. The storage container is a nice feature. The included lid is meant to be able to free the cubes but twisting the silicon tray like a normal tray frees up the cubes. Since the bottom of the tray is silicone and not plastic, a finger poke on the bottom will free up one cube at a time. Nice! Another note, don't overfill. I do that with normal ice trays, part of the reason for big cubes, but you'll spill water everywhere with this tray. Not a defect by any means but just part of the learning process with a new product. Now, all that said, you CAN stack it all up as intended. It takes up a lot less room that way. But, I filled the trays up at night, stacked them, and the next evening the bottom tray was only 20 percent frozen. Just too long for my needs so I use it like normal trays and the storage container is just that. Extra ice storage.

Perfect for my apartment sized freezer!
I had been looking for an ice container for my smaller sized freezer and came across as this with the ice cube trays included. Have used it for quite a few months now and have made tons of ice. This works really well for me. I love that you make ice and have it be part of the container. Saves a huge amount of extra space in the freezer with this and I don't really have extra space available. For me, I find giving the bottom of the ice tray a quick run under the faucet and then a small twist when upright again, usually ends up with 99 of the cubes loosening for dumping in the ice holder. The only downside I've noticed is that condensation builds up a little in the container when I am making ice cubes with the ice tray as part of the unit. It's such a minor detail tho.

Well made and great compact design
The instructions say not to overfill the ice cube compartments; I used a slow trickle from my tap to control the water level in each compartment. After freezing overnight, the ice cubes popped out fine; I did both the method pressing down with the soft spikes in the lid and the normal twisting of the tray to release the ice cubes. Both methods work but I just think twisting the tray is easier. It looks great, works great and doesn't take up much space. I also love the indentation in the base of the clear part that holds the ice cubes; it allows you to pull the whole unit out of the freezer easily - nice, well though out detail!Update - still great but I notice that frost does tend to accumulate in the storage container and the lid; sometimes the lid sticks a bit. Not a deal breaker though - still happy with the product!Second update - since I don't use the part that pokes the ice cubes out of the tray, another use is as an egg holder so eggs don't roll off the counter.

Great set
I absolutely love this set! I bought it for our new travel trailer. We used it one weekend and it moved into the house. The tongs are nice especially camping as hands tend to be dirtier then at home. I do still have to run a small amount of water on the back of the trays to get the ice to fall out, but no biggie. It might be operator error as I might be filling them to full. The only other thing that might be important is this set is so air tight that it freezes as a whole unit and takes much longer because of it. I spread them out so they freeze quicker then restack them. All in all a great set.

Best ice tray
This is perfect for my apartment fridge that does not have an ice maker. I originally had bought ice trays from tjmaxx, but don’t have room for multiple trays, so I’m always out or waiting for ice. This tray solved my issue of storage and makes plenty of ice at once!I enjoy the size, compactness, and how easy it is to pop the ice out unlike traditional trays. I also love the mini scooper and tongs it comes with.

Perfect little ice container and tray combo!
I’ve tried many different types of ice cube trays over the years (silicone molds, ones with lids, regular stackable + tiny cubes, big cubes, spheres, etc) and this is definitely my favorite. I love that it has a lid, 2 trays, and a container, all designed to be stored/stacked together. It keeps the ice clean while freezing, it’s easy to remove the cubes with the spiky lid (those of us with weak hands rejoice!), it holds a lot of small cubes in the container, and it has nice little accessories to scoop the ice as you need it. And it fits in my smaller apt fridge!

Rather impressed
I was skeptical about the ease of ice removal, but I really haven't had to use the lid thing to get the cubes out. About half or more would just fall out on their own. If you give the tray a very slight twist like you'd do with a traditional plastic ice tray, they easily loosen. Any stubborn ones you can give a little push on the silicone bottom and that's it. Very easy to use, works like it says... the only possible con would be that I'd like a larger container so I could stockpile ice cubes, but the container holds 3 to 4 trays worth of cubes. Also, the cube are a nice size. Not too big and not teeny tiny. Quite happy with my purchase.

Perfect ice
System works like a dream. Ice froze quickly, probably due to size of cubes. Top removed cubes as expected. Cubes fit in my bottle much better than regular cubes. While I didn't use scoop to retrieve cubes, it was nice that one was included.

Great purchase
We are so happy with this purchase. It takes up a small corner of freezer, the cubes pop right out and it comes with perfect tongs and a scoop! It would make a great housewarming gift too.
