A good, intriguing anti-capitalist premise. Unfortunately it's then the cinematic equivalent of staring into the compost bin in the kitchen of the pub I work in.Not sure what the point is of doing loads of really cool claymation and stuff, if the overall tone of the film is just kind of really aggressively sticky and gross..in the sort of weird swingers-group-in-the-village-over, who are probably all in the masons, sort of way.Can't tell if I enjoyed it. I think the whole unnecessarily aggressive metaphor for capitalism at the end probably describes the director's relationship with capitalism more than anyone else's. I expect he refers to himself as an auteur. Saying all this, I kind of liked it up until it went really aggressive compost bin at the end.Put me off my tea. Sort of liked the effects. Next time will stick to just rewatching videodrome over and over. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "..CRAZY 80'S CLASSIC.." *by S***X on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 June 2015* Review for the Duel Format Blu-ray-DVD setThis is yet again another amazing Arrow films release of an old 80's classic, Society is seriously one messed up film and that's no exaggeration, it probably has one of the strangest storylines ever and one of the craziest endings ever, Basically the plot is about a boy who lives with his extremely wealthy parents in Beverly Hills, now he's a teenager he's started to have crazy messed up visions about his mum and dad and sister and starts to feel something's wrong with his life and his family, the more he looks into it the more he discovers the truth about his so called life and the lies he's been fed, and the shocking truth comes out!
