Just what I was looking for
The only fault I found was that it was supplied without a UK 3 pin plug. I almost returned it but I was able to purchase a plug adapter which Amazon kindly reimbursed the cost.As I just had a new kitchen fitted I needed a machine that was free standing and didn't require a clamp. This machine is very sturdy and made excellent pasta on my first outing ( although clamp supplied, it wasn't needed)Very easy to use and clean. The motor made pasta rolling and cutting effortless. The motor was a little noisy but so are most kitchen appliances.

Not with UK plug
This one doesn’t comes with a Uk plug but didn’t tell on the description. The product itself quite easy to use, however, the motor attachment seems not durable.

Excellent
Reluctant Buy given the hefty price but worth every penny - solid quality and robust build. I opted for the motorized version after reading the positive feedback and it is a very capable little motor, takes any frustration out of trying to negotiate pasta in/out whilst cranking a handle (the handle is also included) It also comes with a U clamp to secure it to your work surface, however I found the extra weight of the motor this is not necessary and the solid construction allows it to sit happily in the middle of my work top.It may seem a little frustrating to begin with, if your not familiar with pasta dough recipes. The only initial issues I had were down to the consistency of my dough - not the machine. Once I had pasta dough recipe sorted this thing became my favorite kitchen toy! Kids love the Tagliatelle (eating & making) and the Ravioli ? I will never buy Ravioli from a supermarket again.....ever! A very elegant well made tool that does what its designed to do very well. You get what you pay for & this is money well spent.

Sturdy, beautiful, easy-to-use piece of kit
There’s something about this pasta maker that makes you feel as if you have gone back in time, yet it is electric which means that you don’t need much dexterity to use it. I threw out my old hand-turned one because I never used it and I could never get the hang of turning the handle and holding the pasta at the same time. But I haven’t stopped using this electric one since I got it. I love the way you can press a button and the pasta just rolls out of it. It’s very satisfying! It is something that you need to use maybe once a week to get the benefit of it, or if you’re the kind of person who makes pasta for a few weeks, then stops and then starts again, it will be worth buying. But it would be a shame to buy it and not to use it as it is the most beautiful piece of kit.

This is a super piece of kit
This is a super piece of kit; I am so pleased I found a good price offer that included the motor. OK, it is necessary to move the motor between rollers, but this is a quick twist & remove, followed by insertion into the new roller with a twist to secure. It is a bit more 'fiddly' than moving the manual handle, but the convenience of the motor far outweighs any minor hassles. Now I let the motor run whilst feeding the pasta sheets through the rollers, right hand feeding and left receiving the sheet. I obviously turn the motor off when changing settings on rollers/cutters. The result are sheets with a uniform thickness. My sister bought me the spaghetti attachment and a Tacapasta drying rack for Christmas; I will probably buy the linguini attachment as I am particularly fond of linguini vongole. Fresh pasta, like good olive oil, really makes a difference to a meal (in my opinion).

Electric pasta machine
We had a imperia electric pasta machine before this which cost of twice as much and stopped working after 15 months of light use. This machine is effectively a manual pasta machine with a motor that you can attach to its side to operate the rollers and various cutters. The box contains a handle so you can operate it in manual mode if you like or if the motor stops working. The rollers have 10 settings (4 more than the imperia machine) so you can get immensely thin pasta and the cutting blades appear to be sharper than the imperia machine. Note, unlike the imperia machine you have move the motor between the rollers and required cutter yourself. However, this is very easy to do. One more thing to be aware of is that the box contained a European style fig 8 plug and not a UK style fig 8 plug. I was lucky and had a spare lead from an old laptop charger. Hopefully this will last longer than 15 months!

Nice Machine
A nice machine, well made, solid and easy to use. The electric motor makes pasta making much easier and less frustrating than a manual machine. The more I use the machine; the easier I find it is to make pasta. A good machine for novice. Clearer instructions regarding the sizing of the pasta would be useful, however experience combined with information obtained from internet sites helps in gauging the most appropriate size. The machine would also benefit from the incusion of a 3 pin plug, as you need to also purchase an adaptor to convert from 2 round to a British 3 pin.
