I wear gloves as much as possible but you can't beat bare hands for potting up (except cacti lol). I saw this recommended in Kitchen Garden this month so thought I would give it a go at £10.So far I'm impressed. A small pea sized amount covers both hands quickly and it dries quickly without feeling greasy. It leaves your hands feeling smooth. When handling compost you get much less sticking to your fingers and when you wash your hands the dirt comes of very quickly and your hands are easier to clean to get rid of the ingrained dirt that I usually have at this time of year.Each application is supposed to last 4 hours so I apply first thing and again after lunch. My only concern is that I'm a contact lens wearer so avoid hand lotions later in the day when I need to remove and clean my lenses.
