Absolutely beautiful Bible worth every penny spent (of course the Word of God is priceless). The quality of the binding and Leather is second to none and the chain reference system is very useful for reflection and study not to mention the system which shows old testement prophecies and Jesus's fulfillment of them. Couldn't be happier.

The Westminster Reference Bible is both beautifully crafted and exceptionally practical. The elegant blue gilt edges, premium thick paper, and crisp, easy-to-read text make it a pleasure to use. Its extensive cross-reference system is thoughtfully organized and easy to navigate, making it an outstanding resource for in-depth Bible study. Whether for daily reading or serious study, this Bible is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

I was very excited when I learned that Cambridge would be releasing a premium version of the Westminster Reference Bible published by TBS. I already owned the large version in calfskin, but it It lacks certain features such as the concordance. After purchasing a hardbound version in the regular size to remedy the lack of a concordance, I was happy to learn that Cambridge release was coming. I own several of Cambridge's premium editions in the KJV and wanted this in the blue goatskin. I missed out on the lower price because Amazon had changed the shipping date to October 2026. I kept checking the price and was able to obtain at a more reasonable price with the help of a discount. It's still expensive but these come from the UK, and US customers can expect to pay more. I'm grateful that Amazon offers it at a much better price than MRSP. My thoughts on the item itself: It's absolutely stunning with the blue goat skin and the art gilt edges. It's a fantastic size if you need to carry it around or read in your lap. I think the paper is lovely. I've read that it's 32 GSM in thickness. Here's the interesting thing: Jongbloed has resumed printing of both the (regular) TBS and the Cambridge editions and the setting is exactly the same, with the exception of a few additions. However, The font appears slightly darker or larger on the Cambridge edition than in the hardbound text edition, and the paper may play a role here. The font is neither light nor bold. It's right in the middle and that's worth noting for people who worry about the size of font. This comes from someone who loves reading from the Turquoise and Cameo editions because of that bold font. This is truly a treasure for those who love the Westminster Reference Bible and who prefer a premium level of quality.

Está Biblia es hermosa. La calidad del papel y del cuero de la portada y contra-portada es de una calidad superior. El cuero es suave al tacto. El encuadernado parece casi que una obra hecha a mano. La recomiendo 100% no solo para coleccionar sino también, y principalmente, para el estudio personal y aún para aquellos que se estén dedicando al estudio de la teología y que también necesiten una herramienta muy útil para desarrollar sermones y enseñanzas.

I can't stress enough how beautiful the goat leather feels in my hand. I know all that matters is the scriptures but it feels nice having a quality made Bible. The bold print is easy on my eyes. The lined pages for notes are an absolute plus. The three ribbon bookmarks are incredibly helpful for my studies. I have never had such a highly made book of any kind. Honestly the one and only complaint I have is that Zondervan removed the 88 page archeological supplement which was in my Kirkbride edition. A separate book on this by Zondervan can be purchased here on Amazon which I will pick up sometime soon.
