I honestly wasn't sure these would work, any more than the hundred and one other hacks I've tried for making poached eggs! I had got to the point where I had given up even trying, and "poached" them in silicone cups (delicious, but not quite a poached egg). But these have been a total game-changer - very easy to use and (so far) perfect poached eggs every time. They are a little like odd-shaped coffee filters, which you open up and put into a cup, break an egg into it and immediately put the paper and contents into a pan of simmering salty water. Leave for five minutes, and then slip it out on to you toast. Result! I've tried three times now and perfect poached eggs every time. It only took me 73 years to learn how!!!

I love these and the only reason it gets 3 stars is so many break. There is a lot in the pack and the ones that don't break work really well, easy to use and make a nice poached egg, so for that reason I would still recommend

The product is exactly as described, and poached eggs beautifully.

This was the second packet of these I've bought. First time round was ok this was after a bit of trial and error with timings and getting the egg extracted in one piece. However, this second batch has been next to useless. The vast majority of the bags appear to have a manufacturing error - splitting as soon as you place the egg into it. Getting about 10% that actually work. Very frustrating and needless to say won't be buying anymore.

Ottimo. Per la prima volta riesco a fare le uova in camicia. Io ,4 minuti per uova medie e un tuorlo molto morbido. Seguire le istruzioni e calare in acqua solo quando bolle.

Brilliant product, highly recommended

Contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur certains avis, le produit fonctionne très bien et pour ma part dès le premier essai. il est vrai qu’avec une plaque à induction, il est facile de maintenir l’eau frémissante et non bouillante. Dès que l’on a déposé l’œuf dans le sachet, il faut le mettre immédiatement dans l’eau chaude. Au final l’œuf poché n’est pas aussi bien que si on sait le faire dans le tourbillon d’eau de la casserole comme les vrais cuisiniers mais il s’en approche vraiment. J’avais essayé un système de boîte en plastique pour four à micro-ondes. Ça fonctionne beaucoup moins bien en particulier parce que l’œuf est toujours soit pas assez cuit soit trop. Enfin, pour ceux qui craignent les matières plastiques, le sachet n’est pas en plastique, il ressemble plutôt à un filtre à café. D’ailleurs, je me demande presque si ça ne vaudrait pas le coup d’essayer avec un filtre à café, ce serait plus économique !

Hard to see from the photos what the egg bags were made of. When it arrived it turned out to be more or less like the tea bags you can buy.The product was ok but not great. You will have to clamp the bag somehow when you boil. I used Ikea food bag clips.If you are a serial poacher you're probably better off with a more qualitative product. This one contained a bag of 100- who even needs a 100? I'll use the rest like tea bags instead.
