Review: Make sure your card is protected - I bought the ones that gave me a choice of top entry or side entry. I have only used the top entry at the moment because this type fit into my card holder without having to take the card and the protector out when using the card. At first glance I thought the protector would not work very well and would soon fall apart. So far they have proved to work very well and although they look very flimsy as I keep it in my plastic card holder looks like it will last, only time will tell. I am pleased with the purchase as it seems to give the protection I required and fits into my card holder without any adjustment.

A: Yes. RFID skimming targets the 13.56 MHz frequency behind every contactless credit, debit, ID, transit and e-passport card. The sleeve forms a Faraday shield verified at 13.56 MHz, so the chip cannot be read while it is inside.

**Q: Can I still tap to pay?**
A: Yes. Slide the card out to tap, then slide it back to shield. You stay in control of when the card can be read. There is no battery and nothing to charge; the shielding is built into the sleeve.

**Q: Will it block my office or hotel access card?**
A: Newer 13.56 MHz access cards are shielded inside the sleeve; slide out to badge in, back in to shield. Older 125 kHz proximity fobs and most car keys use a lower frequency and are not affected.

I bought the ones that gave me a choice of top entry or side entry. Loved the different colourways provided so that you could identify your cards easily and they were a perfect fit inside my purse, making it easy to get my cards in and out when needed. They were in two different formats, so I have some left over but will share with my husband/son, so good value too. The passport holders will be useful to. Only time will tell whether they work effectively against card cloning but I am confident my data is safer after this purchase.
