Calypso Relaxing Moment Body Sponge

Well, that was a complete waste of money. Stupid size/proportions - too big (length & width) to comfortably hold in medium sized hand but only 1" thick. No amount of hot, warm or cold water and no amount of soap produces a lather. Will be chucked in the back of the car to wipe down muddy shoes, but absolutely no good in bathroom. Avoid.

I have been using this make of sponge for ages. They usually last for about 4 months of daily use. The last one I purchased started to fall to bits within days and was completely in bits within a week. I can't see or feel any difference with the previous 7 or 8 I have had over the last years.

As a clean person,one likes to use the proper kit. This sponge was rubbish and literally fell to bits within 2 weeks. I'd personally say,It was not fit to wipe my ar ....and now on BBC 2, Newsnight....

This sponge used to be really good. It lasted for ages and even after few month it looked like new. The last two I have purchased lasted less then a month. The very last one was in pieces in less than four weeks. Manufacturer is saving money somewhere in production, I guess. I will buy one more just to be sure, then I am going to look for a better product. Very disappointed with it as I was a customer of this particular brand for over a decade.

Sorry but I wouldn't class this as a relaxing sponge in anyway at all. It is however very similar to a Spontex bathroom cleaning sponge which is what it is being used for now. Very disappointed but hey ho you win some you lose some..... Don't waste your money 😔

Would give -star if option was available. Started going black after a few weeks. Went back to buying a Ramer Sponge.

I generally use a store brand sponge to give me a good scrub. I'm a long-distance runner, and a sweaty one at that, any whilst most sponges do a fine job, this is one feels a little better. Firstly, it retains its shape. It's not hard or rough against your skin and it soaks body wash in well and holds onto it for a single complete wash. It dries quickly enough and there's no degradation in quality or performance. Which, as I type, sounds ridiculous that I'm saying this about a sponge! Overall, it's a great sponge that has stopped me moaning about the store bought version that pales in comparison. ** Pros ** - Lasts better than store bought versions (the rough plastic ones) - Retains its shape - Holds enough body wash and water for a complete body scrub - Doesn't smell (store bought one smells of plastic) - Isn't rough against skin - Appears to be environmentally friendly - Dries quickly ** Cons ** - Expensive for a sponge - Only available in pink

It's a lovely sponge that feels natural and gentle on the skin, but it won't last as it is already splitting. It's a shame really, but the lack of longevity means I won't be buying this sponge again.

When I first opened this, it was sticky. In use, the surface, though it has holes, is really smooth, like running your fingers across paper. There's no real lather, and it didn't feel like I was actually washing myself.

Las esponjas de celulosa de esta marca son mis favoritas por su tamaño, suavidad y durabilidad. He probado de otras marcas, pero no me terminan de convencer.
