These high-calorie drinks have really been a lifesaver. My husband enjoys the rich chocolate flavor, and they provide him with all the protein, vitamins, and minerals he needs for his regular diet. They are not clumpy and become smooth and creamy when you shake them up. They have 13g of added sugar, so they may not work for everyone. Although he's lactose intolerant, the ingredients don't upset his stomach or cause diarrhea. He drinks three to four of these a day, so the extra calories are a crucial part of his diet. I subscribe regularly, but I often have to order some bottles in between deliveries because he sometimes drinks more than I expect. Fortunately, that's not an issue—if I place my order by midnight, it arrives well-packaged and on time the next morning, based on when I ordered the night before.

We bought these drinks for my teenage son, who has been severely underweight since elementary school. When nothing else worked--these do! He has gained five-ten pounds in the last month or two, and I have hope he'll reach a healthy weight for the first time in years. I tried the chocolate option for about 2 months in hopes to gain more weight. I got these specifically because they’re very high calorie and contains less sugar than other meal replacement shakes. Within that time, I’d drink 1-2 bottles daily, skipping a day or two on the weekends. Eventually both my partner and I noticed that I was actually putting on weight! Prior to drinking these, you could see my ribs, Now, nearly two months of drinking these consistently, my ribs are no longer visible!! Now as for the taste, I’ve only tried the chocolate flavor, but I think it tastes pretty good when refrigerated. However, I have a sensitive stomach and found it a bit difficult trying to drink these on its own. The consistency is quite thick, which may be because one of the top ingredients is canola oil. I recommend drinking these with a small meal or snack to make it easier to drink. Another thing I noticed is that my nails have gotten stronger since drinking these as it contains Biotin. Plus I feel like it’s also helped boost my immunity as the shake also contains Vitamin C and Zinc, which is a great bonus. TLDR: Get this if: you’re looking to gain weight in the next couple months, don’t mind the thick texture and that it contains canola oil.

Changed the game with this, they are pretty expensive when you drink a box within a week in a half but they are worth it! I’ve gained 6 pounds in about 2 weeks! I literally drink no less than 3-4 a day. I’ve went from 94 pounds to 100 faster than ever will continue to be my #1 weight gainer!

Our daughter was diagnosed of eating disorder and the dietitian recommended this brand with high calories. I aliquoted it and make it around 400 calories per serving and three servings per day. We restored her weight (~20Ibs) and got her energy and mental stability back in about two and a half months. I truly appreciate there is such a product available over the counter. Now, she is off boost and eats normally. I would recommend this to anyone without reservations. But, I do hope we would not need it anymore. By the way, my daughter told me that the chocolate flavor is a bit better than vanilla one but both don’t taste good. But we told her it is a medicine and she could die without it. It worked for us.
