Amazing cards, I love them so much and highly suggest to others. 1. They come into a very lovely box. Makes cards easy to store, is durable. Cards themselves are in very good quality. 2. This deck has animal family theme for court cards. This deck instead of King has Father, intead of Queen has a Mother, instead of Knight has a son, and instead of page has a Daughter cards. It is helpful for people who have difficulties to relate to court cards. Instead of people each suit is represented by an animal family. The family idea used helps to connect to the court cards for me to much deeper and meaningful level. I absolutely love court cards now. 3. The artwork is so beautiful and full of symbology and meaning, but requires some time to adjust. Looking to symbols and what they have in common in all the cards and what is different, is helpful to understand the card messages. There are themes that unite some of the cards, it makes it interesting to explore them and add new meanings and show different sides of these energies. I highly recommend this deck, especially to people who find it difficult to connect to Court Cards. I love this deck so much! 💜

but i got to ask.. was the booklet printed during a mercury retrograde? there are some pages missing and some printed in reverse [upside down]... we seem to be missing the 9 and 10 of pentacles... or maybe the book just wasn’t quite there yet eh! :D i feel like dropping a star or two due to the state of the book [check out the page numbers in the images]... i really am gutted that such an error was allowed to go through publishing. however... it is only the cards that i wanted and i’m feeling pretty generous today so you can have your five gold stars kim krans :) thankyou... according to the booklet i scored a first edition... idk if i’m lucky or unlucky in this case haha it happens... sometimes. EDIT: i just returned from le google... 3rd edition cards ["mass produced set"]. i'm still a little confused but i really can't listen to people talk about their cards on youtube any longer. whatever edition is here i'm more than happy with them.. the cards feel great, not too thick and not too thin.. the colours are nice and vibrant and the art is lovely.... virgos will be pleased to know that i will annihilate these cards and book over time through actual usage lol.

To start off, the artwork on these cards is beautiful, and that's what originally attracted me to this deck. The guide book is really lovely as well, it has images of every card along with their meanings and description. It also has a few different spreads. The card quality is good. They are not the thickest cardstock but they aren't super flimsy like a lot of decks. Due to the cardstock and size of the cards they are probably my favourite deck to shuffle. I'd say they are semi-matte, they don't have that annoying shine that glossy cards have. Although it is quite a 'mainstream' widely produced deck I would say it is not the ideal deck for beginners as the images don't nod towards the Waite-Smith cards at all. That being said, it is important to feel connected to the imagery and art style and I think that's what makes this such a great deck.

The same size as the Rider Deck of Cards, and as easy to shuffle. I have never felt drawn to the Rider Deck of Cards, although I have used the deck for many years. I finally decided to try out another deck. I love the Wild Unknown Deck of Cards. The drawings are beautiful and very simple to interpret. The box is beautifully made and very sturdy. I think it will last for years. I feel the same about the quality of the deck of cards. Beautifully made and extremely good quality. As I began to draw my first card, I felt immediately at home with the deck. It was a lovely, very reassuring feeling. Thank you for making this beautiful deck of cards.

I bought it back in 2018, almost when it came out. I waited for it because the art completely enchanted me. Its really well made, the matt finish is great. Unfortunatelly, I couldn’t connect with it super well (its still amazing deck; you know how it is - some decks you simply connect instantly, someyou dont). Still I would recommend it if you find it appealing. My deck is well made, stock is great (it shuffles very well). There are cards I simply adore or find really expressive (I mean - the 10 of swords is really HARD to look on even). So it all comes down to personal preference. I would still buy it even though I know we dont exacly „clik”. Its really great deck.

I do not know what has gone wrong with the Mass Production of this fantastic independent tarot deck with a massive following. I did not know of The Wild Unknown when it was first produced, I saw YouTube videos raving over the lush deck when the 2nd Edition hit the fan base. At that time I wasn't a tarot user, so just followed the online hum of activity that was The Wild Unknown gathering popularity. I joined a tarot course to learn the art of reading intuitively a few months ago. I bought a tarot deck which I was happy intuitively about. Then I saw The Mary-el tarot reviewed on YouTube, ummed and ahh-ed over that one, finally purchasing that deck too. I thought two decks were plenty for a novice tarotist, then I looked on the internet again. The Wild Unknown began calling me again. Reviewed by dozens of fans, the 2nd Edition needed a home. Along came the mass produced deck that was Edition 3, deck and guidebook complete in a stunning box. At a great price too...I ummed and ahh-ed for too long, the pre order price came and went. The deck went out of stock, so I looked on the marketplace. Found a great deal, near the same as the pre order price....I ordered two...the email came telling me the decks were on their way, my money had been taken...waiting with growing excitement.....Christmas present sorted....then received an email a couple of days afterwards saying unfortunately the dispatch email was wrong. The decks were not on their merry way to my door..I got a refund, then I saw a comment on another Amazon review talking about a little website in the UK, still selling the out of circulation 2nd Edition. So I knew it would cost a lot more, but the quality is far superior....I received two copies of the deck and 2 guide books in a week of ordering....I am very happy now...and the Christmas presents will be gratefully received. One star goes to Amazon itself for refunding me the whole amount and even giving me the voucher back on my account. Thank you Amazon, but in relation to the 3rd Edition mass production of the Wild Unknown....do not even bother ordering it. May 2017 Well I thought I would catch up with an extra bite to my review. Today I received the 3rd Edition Tarot Deck and Guidebook in the post. I know I said I wouldn't get it but succumbed only because I wanted a separate deck for reading other people's spreads. Amazon Marketplace is a good way of buying the same item at a lower price. You can get them new as well as used. The box was packaged well. Bubble wrapped then a layer of corrugated cardboard firmly taped up. The cardboard was also wrapped in parcel paper and tightly held in place with tape. I will definately recommend using SWbooks to everyone. Inside the keepsake box itself, the Guidebook is wonderfully presented. I do have the original and think the newer book is better and has another three spreads to try. Now for the cards themselves......yes, I do have an issue with the card stock. Far to flimsy for tarot cards. These cards are going to get shuffled excessively.....like all the time. These cards will get damaged easily. I have the Second Edition deck and absolutely love the stunning cards, the 3rd Edition deck feels very thin. For me, I will be trimming the borders off and rounding the corners this 3rd Edition. I am not worried about wear, as I have bought this particular deck for everyday useage. It is going in my bag wherever I go. It is going to be my workhorse, my people deck...my party piece....my study deck... One other sad thing about this Edition....no extra card for its own personality.. I am changing my one star to 4 due to the packaging, the Guidebook and way my deck was secure in transit. The only let down is the card stock.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to Tarot, and I ordered this deck along with the classic Rider Waite deck. I just received this deck this morning, almost two weeks ahead of the estimated time of delivery, so I'm very happy with that. The deck itself is breathtaking! The artwork is so beautiful, but for some reason, as soon as I started looking through the cards, I just started feeling so sad, that I almost started crying. I do know my intuition is strong, that's why I want to look into Tarot, but this is a very interesting feeling. I don't know if it's the artwork, the vibe of the cards, or whatever, but I just feel this strong sense of pain when I look at them. Hopefully this feeling will pass once I start using them, because I'm absoliutely in love with them. It also comes with the guide book which is amazing for a novice like me. The boxes, the packaging, the quality, the artwork, everything is exquisite, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I totally recommend this deck, it has completely changed my life. It is so special, so pretty. I've never seen such a special Tarot. As soon as I held it in my hands I knew it was "special". It seems as though it's coming from the depths of another world, a magical world. If I should describe it with one single word I would actually call it "The magical deck". This Tarot deck speaks from its own heart it seems, the answers it gives are very deep, real, sensitive, each time I need a final answer to something I know it will give it to me in a way that none of my other Tarot decks would. When I use it it feels as though I'm also travelling somehow, somewhere deeps down into the depths of a magical space... The quality of the deck is very good, sturdy cards, the book is good as well, the texts are well written. She doesn't include a "reverse" meaning, there's no need to as she explains every cards in a special way. I don't use this deck reversed. Overall excellent quality! Absolutely in love!

Eu estava com um pouco de dúvida de comprar o tarot, mas não me arrependi de ter feito esta aquisição. Valeu sim cada centavo pago nele. O Wild Unknown Tarot é fabuloso, encanta os olhos e a intuição de quem joga. Ele é da atualidade o mais famoso e faz sucesso no mundo todo. No Brasil ainda é pouc o conhecido. A qualidade do box é impressionante, muito cuidado em tudo. Os detalhes e a delicadeza de como é apresentado o tarot impressionam. Caixa grande com imã para fecha-la, uma caixa menor dentro para guardar os decks, um Guidebook, com capa que, apesar de não ser dura, é um material resistente e de qualidade , não é uma capa convencional que normalmente a gente percebe em tarot e baralhos nacionais.A descrição das cartas são curtinhas e de inglês fácil, mas combina com a simplicidade e minimalismo da proposta do Wild Unknown. Mas algo me foi surpresa, os decks não são envernizados. Uma pessoa disse que eram, mas o acabamento é fosco. Entretanto, eu esperava muito mais do deck, uma vez que tarots gringos sempre tem uma certa excelência. Comparei principalmente com o de Rider-Wait que comprei a seis meses, feito pela US Games, que considero ainda a melhor editora de tarot do mundo! As cartas são boas, mas não são as top de linha, como tb não tem verniz dobra-se os cuidados com líquidos, arranhões e sujeiras. Pelo fato de não ter verniz as cartas fazem sucesso no pinterest, tumblr e instagram, pois são mais fáceis de fotografa-los. Essa falta é um pontinho a menos, mas não faz com que não seja uma boa compra, até mesmo pelo valor que está muito bom para o baralho e por ter sido por uma maravilhosa artista a idealiza-lo. Valeu muito ter comprado este tarot.

I resisted buying this deck for a long time. My resistance was based on two things: first, it was so wildly popular that I was reluctant to be part of a fad. And second, one of the cards features a worm cut in half by a sword, an image that initially creeped me out and caused me to avoid the deck. But it kept coming into my line of sight, and many of the cards are so poignantly beautiful that I just had to have it. This boxed set is an incredible bargain. It is beautifully made. Within the outer protective cardboard sleeve is the large, sturdy box, which has a flap with a magnetic closure. I love that; it's so easy to open and close. A silk ribbon lifts the guidebook out, to reveal underneath the actual deck, in its own box. That box too has a silk ribbon to help you easily lift out the cards. The guidebook is all hand lettered, and offers some excellent interpretations. They really get to the heart of the matter. Some Tarot books give so many possible meanings to the cards that they almost have no meaning at all. That has its place, because we all know that meanings shift and change depending on the individual, the other cards in the layout, etc. But it can also be refreshing to have a simple, straightforward, no-holds-barred "this is what's happening" interpretation. This is an honest, tough-love deck, in my opinion. I don't think it's a deck I will go to when I (or a client) am feeling emotionally very fragile. It incorporates all the raw, primal, honest energy of nature-- not fluffy, airbrushed nature but blood-and-bones nature-- and you really need to be ready to hear and accept the raw truth when you use this deck. Some days I feel very drawn to use it; other days I feel I can't handle it. It's that kind of deck. But that's part of what makes it such a great deck. Reading for oneself is always hard, because we have a tendency to want to see in the cards the outcome or the meaning we desire, and so it's difficult to be objective. With this deck, you really have no choice. It's going to get right to the heart of the matter. If you're ready to face the deepest truths, this is your deck. For that reason it's a great deck for shadow work, for working with our innermost fears and secrets. In this sense the deck can be very healing, used with journaling, meditation, etc. The artwork is stunning and absolutely unique. Some people have likened the pip cards to the Marseille deck. I can see that, and yet they aren't really in the stylized, almost geometric patterns of the Marseille. If you study the card, there really IS a picture there, though the absence of any human figure or even an animal figure makes it more difficult to perceive. The Major Arcana are especially beautiful and evocative. One of the most unique Tarot decks that I've seen or own.

This is an exceptionally complete kit featuring gorgeous card art and an easy-to-read guide. Presented excellently in a sturdy hard box, it makes a truly great gift idea. It's a top-quality product that I would definitely recommend!

This is the singular most gorgeous tarot deck I have laid my eyes on, and worth every penny. Kim Krans really outdid herself with this one. The guidebook is easy to follow along and provides in depth explanations on tarot spreads and what each of the cards mean. The box is sturdy, and inside it has ribbons to help you get the guidebook and cards out easier. I have zero complaints and would recommend this deck to anyone who needs one.
