Loving it!
Great camera! I set it up to see how many feral cats I've been feeding and it was perfect. Not a single cat detected the flash, even at night, there was no flash. The quality was great. I had it set up to take pics and videos (long videos and high quality pics). I had hundred and hundreds of pics and videos, which drained the battery in 3 days, which isn't surprising since it took so many high quality videos and pictures. Not a single false trigger either. It was all around great. The only thing off was the temp, but I don't care about what the temp was since it was applicable to my use.

Better than before...!!!!
I've used Bushnell for years but thought I'd like to get something cheaper.... Well I got what I paid for.. The daytime pictures are too dark and the night time pictures are even darker.. The IR for the night time pictures shoots a beam like a flashlight so the critter needs to directly in front in order to be illuminated for a photo...and it's still too dark.. See photos below.... Note the hog in the night time pic..!!Update.. After my 1 star negative review I was contacted by Earthlink and they offered either a refund or an upgraded camera.. I opted for the upgrade.. After installing the new camera found the the daytime pictures were much brighter and quite acceptable.. The night time pictures were still a bit dark compared to the other 5 brand cameras(Bushnell, Covert, etc) that I'm using.. But at least the Infrared light was spread out evenly so that there were no dark sides or dark corners in the photo.. I recommend to Earthlink that they use brighter Light Emitting Diodes to increase IR for night time pictures. Fix that one thing and I think you have a good camera since I like all other aspects of the camera!! The camera comes with the usual strap to fasten to a tree and also a threaded stud bracket to use mounting hole in the bottom of the camera like a security camera bracket. It has cables for TV and USB but I never use those and just swap out SD Cards..The 1st two photos below are the original camera and the 2nd two are the upgrade camera..

Great trail camera for the price!
My son-in-law is an avid hunter so I bought this Trail Camera for him for Christmas. He's been saying he wanted one so this will be his new toy! It came with everything he needs to mount it so he'll be ready to go. With the 65 foot viewing distance my son-in-law can sit and watch the camera or he can leave it to scope out areas for pre-hunting. The best feature is the camouflage coloring so it will blend in well among the trees in the woods. It does require an SD card and 8 AA batteries which are not included.

Excellent value for the cost
Camera is more than I expected. Tested both the video and time lapse functions even though I'm using it for a security set up. I got the camera for both day and night operation. Day light capability was as I expected. it was the low light black and white image quality which surprised me. I have a remote property that I want to have a simple and inexpensive device easily hidden to automatically record or take a high resolution photograph when an intruder approaches. Using the large eight AA battery internal capacity I can easily attach the camera to a tree and on my infrequent visits check for images and replace the batteries. Should I decide to reduce the frequent of my visits I can use a larger external battery as an option. This is an inexpensive way to ensure piece of mind. Should vandalism or other mischief occur it will be identified to a source.

Decent camera during daylight but the IR is lacking
The sensor is fine and the daytime pictures are okay. The night pictures that require IR are poor because there's not enough light to capture the subject very well. The IR lights up a very small circle (imagine looking out of a ship's porthole). Rain drops tend to catch on the camera lens, too. I don't have this issue with other brands.I bought this for the instant replay screen. Spend the $12 to get a SD reader for your cell phone instead.

Easy to se up and worth the price
For the price of this trail camera it comes with so many great options. From still photos colored for day light, to live video with sound to black and white photos at night time. It can capture photos upto 65 feet away. It’s waterproof so using in the different elements isn’t a problem. You will have to purchase separately 8 AA batteries and a SD card for your images to be stored on. Also comes with a year warranty if something should happen to go wrong.

Eight batteries last a week.
Camera takes pretty good stills and video in the day. Night shots are a big disappointment. I realized that they would be black and white but not such bad quality. My biggest complaint is battery use. I have it set on a timer to come on only at night . After a week the eight high end Duracell battery's won't run the camera. Second set of batteries didn't even last that long. Another issue the lens fogged up after a very light rain. I will be sending it back.

Don't get it wet
Rain will get inside the camera. I own three other cameras of different brands and this is the only one that allows water inside. The IR LED window seems to be the weak spot.Otherwise the pictures are very nice day and night with little signs of shutter lag.The water issue is responsible for the two star rating.
