Can I carry my Celestron NexStar 130 SLT telescope in it?

I bought mine for the Nextstar 8se and it's a perfect fit for that. I looked at the specs for your scope and they show 28" long. Celestron NexStar 6 SE Telescope..Can be used in this case?

Yes   I am using it for a Celestron nextstar 6 you take out a spacer pad they have in there for the 4 inch and you have to take the eyepiece and the sight off. I fits very tightly and there are pockets to hold all your extras like eyepieces etc.  I have been traveling in a 5th wheel camper with it since June of 14 until now( Dec 2014) and it has held the scope verey safely.  It is sturdy and rather heavy though. Be advised it only holds the Telescope and accessories you have to carry the tripod seperately.

Will this case work fro a Celestron NexStar 130 SLT Computerized Telescope?  Or is there a better case?  If so what is the better case?

The NexStar 130SLT does NOT fit.  I don’t know why Celestron Tech Support keeps saying it does.  I sent mine back yesterday and notified them- and they still insisted it does fit- even sent along a photo.

Does the motorized mount fit in this case along with the optical tube (Nexstar 8SE)?

Dear James, I confirm that the both the optical tube and the mount for the Nexstar 8SE fits into the case. You only need to adjust the tube along the dovetail so that the edge is set close to the mount basis.
