Our Dog destroys all toys and balls so this was a birthday present for him!Its Loud if you allow play on concrete - we save for a secure dog field we take our dog to.He gets a bit frustrated with it so only allow up to 10 mins of play a time with it -Its strong, bright blue colour - Quite expensive but worth it knowing it wont break

My collie puppy loves this ball, has developed excellent ball control skills and it tires him out nicely so he has little energy left to chew my shoes. However, be warned owners, being hit on the ankle or heel with this ball is agony. Feel compelled to write this review after yet again crumpling to the floor in agony after being hit on the ankle bone by this ball by an enthusiastic puppy who wants to play with it in the kitchen. Keep it outside or wear boots at all times around this ball!

Wasn’t sure after some reviews about the chewing of the ball but bought one for my shai pei /staffie and he loves the 10 inch ball. I play with him with it in the garden by throwing it and at the end of play I put it away so it keeps him the interested for next time. He has the 8 inch one but does prefer the larger one so would definitely recommend to any larger breed of dogs.

Hours of great fun to be had outdoors

Our Labrador/collie cross pup has a strong herding instinct, and would play Frisbee all day long if only she had a willing human to throw it for her. Unfortunately her humans have other duties to perform so this "boredom busting" ball was purchased specifically for her and her herding instinct.Made from hard plastic it's solid - and I do mean Solid - it has no bounce at all, on any surface. It's also quite heavy, so throwing it is not an option., and it's not really designed for throwing anyway. We've tried to get doggo interested in it by rolling it, and showing her how she should push it but apart from a promising few minutes in which she chased it, growling and yelping, it has sat in the middle of the field, abandoned and completely ignored.It's obviously very durable as it's impervious to her set of extremely strong, sharp teeth, but that's actually why she's not interested as she likes to carry her toy - the Frisbee is almost a permanent feature - she likes one of her humans to actively participate in her play. So whilst this ball is robust and well made, it's of no interest at all to our girl hence the neutral rating.

Don’t get me wrong, this dog toy gave my mutt hours upon hours of fun and mental stimulation !The ball lasted nearly 4 weeks before he achieved his mission in destroying it !Overall, well worth every penny and I’ve purchased another 2 since.

Destroyer dog hasn’t managed to break it. He was a bit frustrated at first because he couldn’t pick it up, but once he accepted that he enjoys playing with it.
