During my first time using, the button jammed, and I could no longer get it to work.

Out of the box the sewing machine had a small cloth swatch in it that had been used for practice sewing and it was jammed such that its 'jaws' could not be opened and the cloth could not be removed. The photo shows what it looked like right out of the box. I tried unsuccessfully to disengage the jam. I then returned it without complication.

Works great so far!

I now realize that all of the good reviews on this page are for the very unrelated drill that is an option, somehow. That's the only reason this handheld sewing machine looks like it has more than 1 star average reviews.When it arrived, it looked like it had already been used on a piece of fabric that was still inside the machine. I threaded it up and turned it on, exactly as it says, and it just pushed the thread in and out and just moved the fabric without making stitches. I also tried it on several other types of fabric and nothing worked.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the results but I was so mad that it took so long for me to sow something all for it to fall apart like the needle never went through the fabric. Returned it the next day.

Nothing fits in the slot. I couldn't figure it out.
