Is it a moisturiser as well as a sunscreen?

I've been using this for ages and I don't need a moisturiser. If your skin is very dry then apply your normal moisturiser after you've let the ultrasun sink in. Hope this helps.

Is it moisturising? E.g. can I skip my daily moisturiser and use this instead?

It is - and you probably could - I use moisturiser first but it is very rich - this is the only sun cream that doesnt make my face break out or go blotchy - love it - everyone else always pinches it when we go away!

Does it come out white or clear and do you have to rub/pat in?

It comes out white and I do rub it in gently to get even coverage.Whilst it is quite expensive I have very sensitive skin and it's the only product I found that does not cause any irritation and works very well as a sun screen.

Are there any sunscreens that are not water resistant

The mineral range is not water resistant. The rest of Ultrasun are water resistant.
