I got the 90 due to being a very keen photographer and wanting as much control as I could get over exposure. It also looks nice to me as it matches my Fuji digital bodies in appearance. I think the 70 has lots of what the 90 has and it has a built-in selfie mirror and self portrait mode which seems to be important to you. Both use the same film and so the results are identical.If your daughter is quite young or not likely to make adjustments to settings then there would not be an advantage to the 90. The 70 has funky colours and looks cute too, so overall it may be a better choice for you.I love the 90 camera and my 5 year old son loves it more than my top end digital cameras!
