L’Oréal Excel Hicolor HiLights Magenta

I have dark black Indian hair and this is the only dye so far that has worked, it creates a beautiful vampy burgundy/red and the parts of my hair that have been bleached or are thinner have more of a deep pink hue. I only ever use it with 20% developer if anyone is wondering. And leave for 30mims xx

Beautiful color ! I used 20% developer with this and it came out beautifully. I was really surprised by the outcome. And it didn’t stain my scalp as you can see on the photos . I will keep using this instead of bleaching my roots. Very satisfied with the product 🩷

Colour stain is okay however it depends on your hair colour. Please keep in mind that this is red so it will bleed every single time you wash your hair or put water on it.

Works great, i have dark brown hair which ive used box dye for years and this still lifts using 30vol, i did need to buy 3 as i have long hair, best dye to go red without using bleach, highly recommend, i normally put a crazy color on after if i want a brighter red or to keep the colour vibrant after washing, on its own it doesn’t bleed red either

Worked perfectly - Always wanted red high-lights but never wanted to bleach my hair as its quite thin. Paired this with some 20% volume cream (No bleach powder) let it soak for 30 minutes and these are the results 👌

Good product, does not completely cover black hair but it does a decent job. Kind to hair, no breakage and does not bleed like other dyes.

This produces very professional highlights,and the colour is vibrant and bright,i didnt use it directly on the roots though i using two or three inches away from the Roots then ok as worried about allergic reaction on scalp with hair colours,as some have allergies,though the colour was vibrant and even.

works super well on my dark hair! I eas genuinely shocked at how bright red it got for the first time ever, after already trying to dye it red with other brands a few times. I used 20 developer!

I tried to do box dye with my hair last month and the instructions said to only leave it on for 25 minutes which I did and you could barely see on my hair. I mixed the color with 30 developer until it was a yogurt like consistency and I started dying the shaft of my hair first, once I did that all over I went in to do the roots last so I wouldnt get hot roots, than I left it on for 40 minutes and washed it out with my fave shampoo 3x. I love the results! It's a bit darker in regular light but in sunlight it's beautiful!

Awesome product and good and quick customer service. I achieved the colour after two attempts. Which was awesome since the hair was a 1b (dark brown almost black). Will definatly order again and maybe try a different colour next time.

i used this dye over a badly done chunk of hair that i had previously lightened and used different dye on and this colour is beautiful! it’s exactly what i was looking for, and didn’t damage my hair anymore than it already was. the previous dye was very uneven and patchy due to it being the first time my friend had used bleach on someone and i wasn’t super fussed because it was mostly hidden, but im actually obsessed with this colour and i never write reviews but had to for this! i used 20 vol developer and left it in for maybe 25-30 minutes?
