Dräger X-plore® 3300 Half Mask Respirator Set with 2 Reusable A2 P3 filters for Paint Spraying and Agricultural Work

This has been fantastic for using outdoors when using acrylic solvent to seal my driveway. The fumes I was in contact with were toxic and a prior mask from a different manufacturer was really bad and gave me temporary breathing issues. This mask was great, it was the right filter for the job and the mask adjustability and fitment was great (I had to have it pulled tight on the top headband. I am 5”10 and used a Medium size. It’s easy to use and extremely well made. Will definitely be using this one and throwing away the old one as this is so much lighter and more comfortable to wear, it doesn’t pull down and off your face. Great value for money.

First impressions out of the box were not so good, the mask appeared cheap and gimmicky. However, once put on the mask formed a very tight seal around my mouth/nose which given I do have a short bear was impressive. With the mask fitted it was not possible to breath at all if I blanked the filter holes with my hands - this proving the mask created an air tight seal. With the filters fitted I used the mask whilst spraying some 2 pack clear coat on a motorcycle tank outside. Unlike my previous mask, I was not even able to smell the clear coat. A very effective mask.

For me it's not comfortable to wear for more than an hour. I sized it correctly and came out a medium, but it grips around my mouth too tight and makes my cheekbones hurt. The elastic straps are not good either, they pull and rub on my neck. On the plus side it really blocks vapours well, I don't smell anything and it's easy to breathe through. I wouldn't buy it again based on the lack of comfort.

Tried x3 other brands Force 8 and 3M. This drager Mask is by far the best of fitment and has the least amount of leakage. Tested using perfume and underarm aerosols. The drager outperformed the other two noticing that there was no scent or smells. There’s lots of adjustment the straps and the quality of the materials do add comfort. The downsides: The filters are a little more expensive compared to the others, The air filters do invade your vision slightly compared to the force 8 however, it’s a small price to pay for fitment and seal-age around your face ultimately providing you with more/better protection

Good fit and the filters keeps the dust and toxic smell out while stripping varnish and paint from a piece of old furniture.

Why this mask doesn't work for me: I can't wear it for work, or travel inside london. Alternative that "worked": Paper (FFP3) mask off ebay. It doesn't seal as well, but can be worn for long periods. And goes around the head, not the ears. Full review: At most I can wear it for 15-45 minutes (I need 3 - 8 hrs) before it starts really hurting the bridge of my nose. I've tried moving the straps to different positions, but it still doesn't help. It feels like it's "too small" for me, but there are no size gradiations. nit picks: - Testing too well (blocking the filters, and inhaling "hard enough"), WILL break the seal at the mouth "out" port. Ie: the one-way "out" gummy gets pulled inwards. - Sways too much/kinda feels flimsy (like it'll break the seal) if I look left and right/shake my head too quickly. positive: easy to use lightweight really easy to breathe. I could even see someone being able to breathe while sleeping (unlike S10 ressie) Possible to check that it seals does seal properly looks easier to maintenance long-term than S10, or paper mask. neutral: better field of view than S10. worse field of view than paper mask

It was easy to set up with the instructions. It is comfy and easy to wear, not that I'll ever be wearing it for really long durations. I'm using it mainly for spray painting duties, and so far, I have noticed the difference in using the mask. I wish I'd invested earlier now! I don't find it restrictive when breathing, and it was a simple rince to clean it at the end of use. Using the bag for storage is handy, but you must dismantle it every time. I'm happy. Hopefully it will last a long time

The quality of the product and the fit of mask to my face gives me complete confidence it will give me the protection I need. A well designed product, well suited to to the home handyman for both painting and the occasional spraying selective weed killer, and spreading fertilisers.

👉 Voici un masque de protection respiratoire sérieux ! Les cartouches sont A2P3RD (poussières fines et produits chimiques, solvants, polyuréthane). Le masque est parfaitement englobant, j'ai plutôt une grosse tête et la taille « M » est parfaite (le « L » est prévu pour une distance « base du nez » / « pointe du menton » supérieure à 13 cm (grosse grosse tête). 👍 Le silicone est bien souple et confortable, on respire facilement et les filtres fournis sont parfaits contre les poussières et surtout aussi pour les produits chimiques. ► J’ai pulvérisé mon jardin avec un produit plutôt agressif et odorant et je n’ai absolument rien senti, ni éprouvé la moindre gène. 👍 Ca protège bien sans qu’on étouffe, c’est juste parfait. 👍 Le mode d’emploi est hyper complet avec un énorme tableau recensant toutes les pollutions et tous les produits chimiques imaginables et vous propose les références des filtres les plus adaptés. 💡 On peut donc prévoir de commander des filtres supplémentaires en fonction des usages envisagés. 👍 Filtres très faciles à mettre en place (1/4 de tour). 👍 Le masque est super confortable et très simple à mettre en place, on tire sur l’élastique du menton et on le passe derrière la tête, puis on place le harnais sur la tête et on tire sur les deux élastiques, terminé ! 👉 Je vous recommande sans hésiter ce marque de protection d’une grande efficacité, il protègera correctement vos voies respiratoires. 📦✍😃 J'espère ne rien avoir oublié et que ce commentaire vous permettra de faire votre choix. Ich habe lange recherchiert welche Atemschutzmaske ich mir denn nun endlich zulegen sollte und bin mit meiner Entscheidung, die Dräger X-plore zu kaufen, sehr glücklich geworden. Passt perfekt, stundenlanges Nutzen nicht unangenehm, keine Druckstellen, und mit den richtigen Filtern einfach gute Luft (auch bei Reinigungsarbeiten mit Chlor o.Ä.). Endlich Schluss mit Einwegteilen, die in guter Ausführung auch mal 4-5€ kosten und trotzdem nie richtig sitzen (oder der Gummi reißt). Ich empfehle jedem, der auch nur ansatzweise darüber nachdenkt "sich mal ne richtige Maske" zu holen, SOFORT die Dräger 3300 zu bestellen. Und dann noch mal drei, als Geschenke für Freunde und Familie, von denen man weiß, dass sie auch häufig im Dreck schaffen (Top Geschenk zum Hausbau). Plötzlich tragen die Leute auch Atemschutz, wenn er nicht mehr so besch..eiden zu benutzen ist! Unterschied der 3300 zur 3500: Ich habe beide bestellt und konnte nur einen Unterschied ausmachen: Das untere Halteband, das hinten um den Hals geführt wird, ist bei der 3500 mit einem Haken trennbar, bei der 3300 dagegen durchgängig (muss also über den Kopf geführt werden). Die 3500 dürfte also besser geeignet sein für Menschen mit langen Haaren, die 3300 für welche mit kurzen (weniger umständlich ohne den Haken). Für kleinere Köpfe gibt es auch eine S-Variante, die meine Frau mittlerweile bekommen hat. Die passt ihr nun auch wunderbar (im Gegensatz zu meiner M-Maske). Die Haltebänder hab' ich zwischen den Masken getauscht. So hat ihre nun den Haken hinten, wegen der Haare und ich muss mich nicht mit dem Haken rumärgern. Win-win. :) Nachtrag nach knapp vier (!) Jahren Nutzung bei (Holz-/Beton-)Schleif-, Abriss-, Dämmwolle- und generellen Sanierungsarbeiten: Jederzeit wieder. Nach den schlimmsten Arbeiten - kein Staubkorn in der Maske (oder im Taschentuch! Das stelle man sich mal vor! :) ). Die Reinigung ist auch recht einfach, wobei das Wiederzusammenclipsen der Teile etwas fummlig ist. Reinigen sollte man sie aber tatsächlich häufiger, denn es sammelt sich Kondenswasser in der Maske (besonders bei Wintertemperaturen). Wird aber gut vom Gesicht getrennt, sodass kein Nässegefühl entsteht. Nach vielen Einsätzen verdreckt die Maske natürlich auch äußerlich, aber meine grandiose Lösung dafür: Zerlegen, grob vorwaschen und ab in die Spülmaschine (natürlich ohne Filter). Die Filter halten sehr lange. Die Aktivkohlefilter schone ich jedoch und verwende sie nur, wenn es sein muss und lagere sie in einer luftdichten Box. Ansonsten verwende ich die normalen Staubfilter in der gewünschten Filterklasse. Dazu habe ich die P2 Pads und die P3 Filter nachgekauft, je nachdem ob ich nur Holz schleife oder sogar Schimmel entfernt habe (dazu dann lieber P3 - auf der Dräger Webseite kann man sich über die Filterklassen informieren). Auch wenn sie zu Beginn teuer scheinen, sind gerade bei Schleifarbeiten die P2 Filter sehr sehr langlebig, also eine wirklich nachhaltige Anschaffung. Man kann sie auch noch mal absaugen und sie sind wieder fast wie neu, aber ob dadurch die Filterleistung nachlässt, weiß ich aber nicht. PS: Zugegeben, 3M Masken hab' ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Die sollen ja auch gut sein.
