Waeco COOLPOWER M50U Voltage Monitor Universal

This product works really well has has solved a problem I had with my car battery. I had to remove a security and reversing camera from my old car as I kept getting a flat battery. Not anymore with this device which works well (been tested) and is great value for money.

I have just tested it with my fridge and it works fine. Disconnected the power as it said and reconnected at said voltage.I'm glad I bought it.

I found out whilst on holiday that the socket in the back of the car only stays on when the ignition is turned on. In a previous vehicle, the rear socket was always live. If the car engine is running, then you don't need this, although it would probably turn your coolbox off when starting the car engine. The Coolpower unit is well-made and of good quality, but is not likely to be particularly useful if, like me, your accessory socket switches off when the ignition key is removed. It was intended for car holidays. I was going to leave the coolbox running in the car when I stopped for lunch or an interesting shop, knowing that Coolpower would cut out only if battery power got too low. Why didn't I check my accessory socket first? Well, at least it wasn't expensive! I'm still pleased I've got it; perhaps the next car will have a permanently powered auxiliary socket. It so happens that my Waeco coolbox stayed cool in a hot car even when it wasn't running.

Had one already permanently in the car to avoid wireless charger and dash cam running the battery flat. Bought a second for a fridge when camping. Does what it says on the tin. Feels well built. My first one must be 5 years old and counting.

Hello, I bought this product but it doesn’t work,it’s broken!Its any possibility to resolve the problem?

Does exactly what I need. Dash cam can drain the battery over several days. With this it stops the battery going flat.Led indicator shows the status.Flashing red means car battery is to low and has not turned the device on.Solid red means voltage is good and can supply the device requiring power. It says it is rated 5A which is more than enough for my requirements

I bought this to take on holiday this summer for use with a 12v coolbox in our car. It did exactly what it was supposed to, shutting the box down when the battery voltage dropped. The led indicator is a handy touch giving visual confirmation that it's properly plugged in to the car socket. Highly recommended, it allowed us to keep the box plugged in at all times without flattening the battery.

I use this to control my dash cam on and off after having flattened my battery. My output on my car is always on and I had forgotten to switch dash cam off. This item works well but there is some annoyance. The connection to the cigarette lighter socket is not too good and it can slip out quite easily causing disconnection. Also the connection to the dashcam is a bit sloppy and that can disconnect quite easily . So they both need checking regularly.

Om de koelbox langere tijd te kunnen koelen deze aangesloten op een 576 Wh Ecoflow River Max Powerstation en zo via de Dometic spanningsbegrenzer op de 12V. Tijdens het rijden wordt de batterij dan bijgeladen. Bij stilstaan wordt de batterij verder geladen via de 12V tot de drempelwaarde is overschreden. De koelbox wordt ten alle tijde gevoed via de powerstation. Deze kan uiteraard ook worden opgeladen met 230V... Ideale oplossing om enkele dagen verder te kunnen zonder zorgen.

Bonjour.J'utilise CoolPower pour le frigo portable de voiture. Pourquoi ? Pour éviter de déchargement de la batterie.Automatiquement il detect, que la batterie a faible puissance et il coup d'alimentation de frigo.Un jour j'ai préparé dans le soirée ma voiture pour partir à 5h lendemain. J'ai branché mon frigo pour vérifier s'il marche bien après mon attention à été attirer par autre chose et j'ai le pas débrancher.Le matin la batterie a été déchargé. Le départ a été très très en retard.
