Bought these as a recommendation for my teen by his dentist. They do what they say - they disclose where he has missed on his teeth, but where he was having problems due to overcrowding - the whole area went purple. It didn't look good, but they really did show up where he needed to clean more. (Saying that the 3 baby teeth causing the problem which were wobbly have now all gone). So hoping with his mouth freed up of the those teeth who didn't want to stay, this will continue to let us know where he needs to improve on his dental hygene. They are the same as the initial pack we were given by the dentist. It's a good sized pack, better than the smaller ones you get from the chemist and so will last a while longer, or if you have more children. Also can be used by the grown ups to help with their dental routine or for demonstration... One caution is if left lying around and there is water, it may get in, or maybe it was just the odd one for us that had got torn when my son was separating them. I found purple dye spilling all over the tiles and it STAINS the grout.... plus can make a mess of the sink. On a positive note, the dye is plant based and not synthetic and will clean off the sink, (but not the grout - well I've not got it off, although the colour has faded to more of a pink not the dark purple). Over all a good product, price wise much better to buy a bigger pack, worked out about half the price of smaller shop available packs.

We started using these after my children got into trouble from the dentist for not having properly cleaned teeth despite brushing regularly! This upset them so we gave these a try at the dentists recommendation. They do what they say and the results can be quite horrifying even for adults! It does help you brush better though and gets children thinking about how they clean their teeth. We always use them the night before dental appointment! They are best used on a night so that the discolouration fades by the morning! As people said they can be a faf to get out of the packet but I use scissors. Keep your kids in the bathroom as it can get everywhere when they spit it out! Oh, and make sure you clean it straight away so it doesn't stain!

Was recommended by the dentist to get these lil amazing disclosure tablets to keep a check on the kids brushing and they work brilliantly. Brush teeth, chew tablet rise and spit and oh my goodness 😂 the kids where shocked (I was not) at how much they missed. Red dye for new plaque blue for the old plaque and aswell as the purple/blue mouths they have. And too finish with a re brush. Super brilliant tool for any parent wanting to keep an eye on the little beasties nashers or catch out a cunning teenager 😉

These are great for stains on teeth. They do not taste great and are quite powdered. They do as they suggest they will. They work great for young teenagers.

Great for showing up places that need more attention for brushing. I bought these for my teenage son who is terrible for brushing his teeth and dentist gave him a telling off. Now he can see where needs the most work. Make sure you rinse afterwards my son makes a right mess but cleans up. Avoid getting into grout does stain the white grout as I’ve learned the hard way .

I bought these on the advice for friend, but really they make such a mess. You just get blue everywhere. Think they do highlights where you haven't cleaned properly. They dump you do that. You can definitely see the areas and hair in your mouth that are red which is plaques that you haven't cleaned. But oh my God they're messy, that's the only reason I've given it four instead of a five
