According to AI I seem to have given myself "cell phone elbow". It recommended ice and a strap to help with pain. Thought i would try this one as it was cheap and delivered next day. Didn't really expect much but after a day or two moving it about to find best position it actually helped. Now I wouldn't be without it. Went out without it yesterday as the pain was much less-big mistake! I can now wear it for several hours at a time and think it is definitely not only reducing the pain but helping my recovery.

Arrived quickly and worked reasonably well for me.It allowed me to keep working which was the main thing for me me. It reduced the pain enough to allowed me to work.

I bought this primarily because it was inexpensive and I needed to try something. From not being able to pick up a cup of tea I can almost immediately pick up full kettles! Yes, if I'm having a bad day I'll wear it, and it helps. If I need to get something done, then I'll wear this to get me through.Does it 'fix' the issue? No. Is it likely to make things worse? Yes. Pain is the body's way of saying 'stop doing that', if you take away the pain, you keep on doing the thing that causes it. There are times, when wearing this, that it appears that the pain is being generated, it just feels 'further away'.Yes, sizing the thing to fit is trial and error - just don't get too fixated on what bit of the thing is supposed to grip onto another, and understand that 2 thicknesses of the band will fit through the hoops and you'll be fine. This is big enough to be able to put in a general area, without needing to be too precise - but do fiddle with the thing until it's best for you. There will be no universal point for all people. The hoops are hard-ish plastic so can bruise a little if too tight for too long - but that's likely to be better than the pain that it subdues.It's a bit like a credit card - it helps me do the things that I want to do when I want to do them, but it doesn't make the bill go away.Would I buy again? Sure. Would I recommend to others? Well, I'd warn them first that it's no cure - but on balance it's better to have it available.

This is great. I was a bit sceptical that these things work, but I've had issues with my elbow for a few months now and cycling in particular set the pain off big time, which as a cycle courier isn't a good thing. I figured it couldn't hurt to try it out, and what a difference. I use it in conjunction with the Ionocore compression sleeve. Obviously there is still a bit of discomfort (this isn't a cure afterall), and I do still try to be careful with arm movements and the way I lift things, but with this the pain is MUCH reduced. I can now do a shift on the bike without almost losing use of my arm afterwards, which I couldn't before.Quality seems pretty good. 4 or 5 weeks of use and the foam/gel/whatever it is, is still as firm as it was when delivered, which I believe can be an issue on cheaper versions of these. If there is one thing I'd like it is shorter velcro straps. I'm a big guy and even still the velcro goes way past where it should attach. I guess longer straps might be handy if wearing over clothing (which I can't imagine would be a great idea) but as this of for a forearm I'm not sure why they need to be so long. That's a minor annoyance though as it works perfectly well, is comfortable once you get it in the right place, helps with the pain, and seems like it's built to last. I'd recommend giving it a try.
