Micro Terror - 20W Hybrid Guitar Amplifier Head with Valve Preamp

Absolutely brilliant , sounds great / looks great and really lovely warm sound.Used two different guitars with it so far and found that humbuckers sounded the best with it.I have a Marshall and a Katana but this is my first go with a valve amp and i am now a converted fan of Orange amps.Just be careful to make sure that you have your power supply and cabinet or headphones plugged in first before you turn on as this can damage the amp.You tube videos that i watched reminded you of this.Really looks that it could withstand a lot of heavy use.Overall i am really pleased with it.

Great little amp! Tube preamp and 20w for this price is insane! Size is great for portability. Fits easily in a backpack with cables, so no crazy weighty head to lug around. I just use this for a 1x12 with a pedalboard, and have enough to play big venues no problem! Easily can power a 4x12 over a thrash drummer as well. I've tried! Only downside is no FX loop, but that is a feature of the Micro Dark, so something to look into before deciding on this. All and all, you really can't go wrong with this choice. Great tone, value, portability, and options make this a great amp for smaller venues, or home practice.

I really like this micro head (paired with small Orange cabinet). It has a great tone from clean to crunch and able to go really loud with high gain. Only downside is when used on low gain the sound output is drastically dropped, a bit quiet for my taste. But with a bit of gain it shines.

A great little Amp . I ran it through 2 x 12 inch speakers wired in series (16 ohms). Remember that you speaker/s must give you 8 ohms or more, or you risk damaging this amp. 4 ohms is no good. The Micro Terror is Very Small and compact, Very Loud and Gutsy. I actually changed the Tube for more clean tones. And I registered the amp for 1 year warrantee and for some great reason they gave me 2 years. Praise God :) And I found out from the seller that changing the Tube does not affect the warrantee unless you changing the tube is responsible for any fault it might develop. ie, you damaged the unit in some way during the process. However, I found it was too loud to play at home for me and I was concerned about the neighbours. The trouble is, when I turned the volume right down low, the amp wasn't able to keep it's sound quality too well IMO. Like pretty much any amp I've used. So I have gone for another amp now that allows me to drop to 5 watts and 1 watt. I have put my Micro Terror up for sale, but quite glad that no one has offered to buy it at my price because I kinda want to keep it LOL Make what you will of that.

I watched alot of reviews for this amp before purchasing and my expectations were high, safe to say I am not disappointed in the slightest. In the first photo, you can see the volume knob is barely turned at all. This is already quite loud and probably pushing it for what would be considered a respectable "bedroom level". This amp would be more than capable of holding it's own in a band environment. Great amp at a great price, I love it.

It is junk, it stopped working and now all i get is buzzing. The power cable comes out very easily. What a waste of money, i have for only 4 months, not worth the money, I would say do not buy it as it can be dangerous if the power cable comes out a lot. Its sparks from the back. I sent it back to the seller but they sent it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it. This is clearly a lie at the power cable does come out very, very easily. It sounds ok when it works i just do not trust it. It is not safe.

Cracking little amp. I’ve had Marshall’s and Blackstars in the past and wasn’t convinced this amp would fit the bill. But boosted with either a Boss SD1 or BD2 Blue Driver (or both stacked) it sounds mega! Think I might get the Micro Dark as well. Great value, seriously loud! Although you can keep the volume down and play at bedroom levels. I’m running this through a 1x12 Greenback, it’s a wicked sound :-)

The build quality and the sound are just amazing! I bought this with the Orange 8" cab and I could easily play a gig in a pub with this. I can't believe the power this tiny thing has. The sound is so rich - typical of a tube amp. Definitely worth the money - it's all about the sound.

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend combined with the Orange Amp- PPC108 1c8 Closed Back Speaker Cabinet. He loved it. He mostly plays metal so I was a little concerned about how this amp would do for the sound that he likes, but he says it sounds great. He recently bought a reverb pedal to go with it, and says it sounds amazing. This little amp combo has an amazing bang for its buck, and I would strongly recommend it if you want something that sounds amazing but wont break your bank account of take up too much space.

Perfecto amplificador, en mi caso lo he acompañado con la pantalla Orange y suena espectacular. Puedes tocar una amplia gama de estilos con tan solo jugar con el tono y ganancia. Como pega decir que al quitar la ganancia para el acústico se toca a mucho menos volumen. Perfecto para espacios pequeños

Ampli dall, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, nonostante sia ibrido riesce ad avere un suono molto dinamico, lo uso collegato ad una 2x12 con celestion v30, regolazioni delle manopole molto precise, a volumi umani si riesce ad avere anche un pulito decente, col gain oltre la meta la situazione si fa parecchio interessante, ottima dinamica e si sfocia in suoni belli crunch rock ma a mio avviso non abbastanza spinti per generi più pesanti, tuttavia la pasta sonora è buona davvero ed anche estremamente versatile, apprezzo molto il fatto di nom avere molte regolazioni e fronzoli, attacca, accendi, suona. Unica pecca la qualità sonora dall'uscita per le cuffie, viene fuori un suono un po finto, ma comunque più che buono per suonare silenziosamente. Ottima anche la possibilità di usare solo la testata senza cassa sfruttando le cuffie insieme all ingresso mini Jack,tantissimo divertimenti e 0 fastidi per i vicini di casa. Ho mandato in pensione il mio huges & Kettner full valve per questo piccolo mostro. Penso che con qualche pedalino possa diventare un ottima soluzione super economica per suonare anche fuori da casa.
