Great brush

Well packaged and nice looking brush. I used it to do a painting and have to say it's great to do detailed work, I bought the 000 brush and it managed to pick up colours easily and retain it's shape, other brushes I bought seemed to lose a lot of hairs after a while but this seems like it will last a long time. I'm pleased I spent the extra money to buy this brush other than cheaper brushes that seem disposable after a few uses.

These are just THE best brushes I have ever used. I've had them for years now - possibly 8, and the original is only just starting to get a bit tatty. I'm using them for plastic model making, so they get immersed in acrylic as well as enamel paints, and cleaned with harsh thinners, but they never quit. Just make sure you give them a deep clean every now and then, keep the tip at a point and never swish the bristles on the bottom of the water jar - this kills paint brushes of any quality. Queen Victoria was the initial inspiration behind the series, as she wanted the best No.7 brush that W&N could make, so they did, and they named the series after her favourite one.

This is the third one of these Ive bought and to be quite honest I wouldnt buy any other size 000 brush. Ive tried the cheap ones - the mid range ones and the very expensive ones and this one is still the best. I use it for all the fine painting I do - hence why Ive already got through 2 of them. You can use them with water colour and acrylic paints but I wouldnt use it for oils. The brush is very very fine....much smaller than some you see at 000 size. This is perfect for my needs. I can really recommend this brush. Dont waste money shopping around and trying others - just get one of these. You wont regret it.

Great quality brush, using with my W40k models, bristles are a lot more reliable than the GW collection but sometimes still have difficulty keeping a bullet tip.

I've been modelling at 1/35th scale for the last 5 years. I've acquired a roll full of paint brushes, and with experience comes expertise. In my experience, nothing can match my Series 7 000 brush for detail painting. The natural point of the sable hair is superb. You get what you pay for.

I've been using this brush for a couple of weeks now and this is a very good brush. The bristles are nicely flexible and hold a good amount of paint. Great for the small details I paint on my miniatures.

Brushes ok. Don't think they are worth the extra money compared to GW and other brands. Proof will of value for money will depend on how long they last.

Ich nutze die Winsor & Newton Serie 7 schon seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit um Tabeltop Miniaturen anzumalen. Bisher konnte ich mich immer auf eine herausragende Qualität verlassen. Nun bräuchte ich mal wieder neue. Leider hat mein Shop meines Vertrauens, seit einiger Zeit die Winsor & Newton Serie 7 nicht auf Lager, auch nicht die Artis Opus Series S, die ich gerne einmal ausprobieren würde. Bei Amazon sind die W&N Serie 7 vorrätig, wenn auch völlig überteuert. Da man hier auf jedes Produkt gleich die Versandkosten mit drauf haut. Von wegen Prime Kunde und Versandkostenfrei. Das ist bei Amazon schon lange eine Augenwischerei. Normalerweise kostet der Pinsel Size 000 ca. 9,50€, bei Amazon dann mal eben 18,74. Eine Frechheit. Aber gut, ich habe mich drauf eingelassen, weil ich eben neue brauchte. Ich habe 1 size 1 bestellt dieser war in Ordnung und bereits 3 mal size 000. Alle 3 size 000 waren offensichtlich bereits gebraucht, da die Spitze nicht mehr ab Werk versteift sind. Damit hätte ich nicht unbedingt ein Problem, schließlich schicke ich ja auch Produkte schon einmal zurück. Aber diese wurden vermutlich retourniert, da die Qualität sehr zu wünschen übrig lässt. Die Pinsel spreizen ohne das ich sie einmal benutzt habe. Einmal mit sauberen Wasser befeuchten und über den Handrücken geführt und ich habe eine Pommesgabel wie sie Wacken nicht würdiger währe. Zudem spreizen einzelne Haare ab. Normalerweise auch kein Drama, bei 1-2 Härchen würde ich das als normal empfinden. Die werden einfach ab geklippt. Aber was ich hier erhalten habe, hilft auch kein klippen mehr. Da bleibt ja nichts mehr vom Pinsel übrig. - W&N haben schon seit längerem Qualitätsprobleme nach meinem Empfinden. Mag an der Russland Krise hängen, da die Rotmader Haare ja meist von da kommen. Für mich werden das jedoch erst einmal die letzen W&N sein. Wie erwähnt vielleicht mal Artis Opus ausprobieren oder Rosemary & Co, mit meinen DaVinci Maestro war ich auch meist recht zufrieden. Ich werde meinen Size 000 solange retournieren, bis ich ein ungebrauchtes Neues und Qualitatives Exemplar von Amazon erhalte. Das darf ich doch als Kunde erwarten, oder? Und dann wars das erst einmal mit W&N.

良い筆ですし使いやすいですが、最近は半額位の値段でも同等のレベルに近い筆が多数のメーカーから発売されていますので、ブランド名に惑わされずご自身で使い易い筆を探すのもモデラーとしては楽しみです。 また、使い方が違う（油絵や水彩画）模型の塗装に使っているので、筆用のトリートメント等メンテを行なっても穂先の寿命に長短があります。
