Very strong and well made stool.

We bought this to use in the bathroom for our 2 year old months ago and it is still going strong. It seems well made and I like the retractable step. Not too heavy but sturdy so easy to move around and use elsewhere too. Would definitely recommend this

We bought this to help our 2 year old access the loo and the sink in the bathroom. He's tall and heavy for his age so we didn't want to risk plastic steps which a number of reviewers suggested might bow under his weight! These steps have been great; solidly built and nicely finished. The lower step pulls in and out easily (despite the non-slip rubber feet - which are also good on our solid bathroom floor) and makes it easy to store and easy to get up to the top step. They two-levels will also mean that, as toots continues to grow, he can move down to the lower step before finally ceasing to require the steps at all. They look nice in the loo too - and they clean easily which has been good for little accidents when training! Not the cheapest option, but definitely worth it!

I love everything about this step: how it looks, the sturdiness, having two steps, the convenient size for small spaces. There's just one problem: it arrived smelling of mildew, which I've been trying to treat ever since. It was a very strong smell to start with and has lessened with cleaning and airing but still isn't completely gone. This is most likely because the manufacturer or seller has stored it somewhere damp - there was no water damage to the box. If the item wasn't so perfect for what we need, I would have returned it and looked elsewhere, since I imagine a replacement would have the same issue. This is such a shame and a let down on an otherwise brilliant product.

This product is fantastic, and really good value for money. It is made really solidly from real wood, and all the edges, corners and surfaces are beautifully smooth. The pull out lower step has a smooth action which works well. It also has non-slip feet so that it is safe on the bathroom floor. The whole thing feels nice and sturdy in use.It is not too heavy for my 3 year old to move around the bathroom (from toilet to sink, etc) by himself, and looks a thousand times nicer than the awful hollow plastic things with cartoon characters on them, which cost nearly half the price of this far superior wooden step anyway! The step comes in a box fully assembled and ready to use straight away, which is a big improvement over the wooden ones that were available when my eldest was little which needed self assembly.I would definitely recommend this product.

This step stool is the best thing I bought in a long time. My 1 year old currently sits on the bottom seat and as she grows can sit on the top seat as a stool. She can sit on the top at the moment with her feet comfortably resting on the bottom step and is a good height to reach her kids ikea table. The stool is well made, neat, good quality and practical. It's a good size for young kids as the step isn't too steep and can be used as a stool through their growth. I love the look and feel of it and it will be a staple in our home for years to come

This step stool has served us well for the past 4 years, it is sturdy, doesn’t slip and is still looking good. Used as a stool for my toddler to sit at the toilet, washing hands, and now she is 6, for helping at the kitchen counter or reaching things in cupboards. I also use it to reach high things and it handles my weight no problem. I have been pleasantly surprised by how adaptable this has been and it expect it to still be useful for years to come.

My toddler loves standing on this to reach the sink and wash her hands and brush her teeth. She can move it to where she wants it (not always a good thing but good to get her tidying up after herself). She can also pull out the bottom step herself (although this is not all that smooth to pull out).The wood is very nice and has a lovely smooth and silky finish. I use it to sit on when bathing the children, so all in all a useful item. Makes a change from all the multi-coloured plastic products that have taken over the house!The cheap plastic one-step stool we bought elsewhere wasn't quite high enough, so this has been worth spending a bit more money on.

Bench is well constructed. Looks great in my daughters kitchen. I purchased for my toddler granddaughter. She is able to push it to were she needs it but does not move when she is on it.

Great idea, but the bottom step is difficult to pull out, so my son can't use it by himself.
