Review: Very good and not so good - The level itself is excellent and seems extremely sensitive. It easily registered a one thou difference in two feeler gauges as I was calibrating it. The instrument box arrived in three pieces and is very cheaply made, thin and weak especially considering that the level is heavy at over five pounds, I will make a new one. One layer of thin bubble wrap and a plastic mailing bag was all. And lastly the instruction sheet....a translation from a different language, it makes very little sense. Quote from first line 'The level is applying for check the straightness/parallelism of the surface' etc and it gets worse. As a retired machinist I have used a great many different precision levels. I have a 98 level that is quite good but I wanted something a little larger and more accurate to assist a friend in setting up several machines in his new shop. Comparison tests and checks of this level show it to be quite accurate and trustworthy.
