I haven't stopped wearing them since they arrived. I normally go for a Madrid style Birkenstock for comfort but wanted an ankle strap to provide more support and these fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend. They are good quality too and have a strong outer layer on the sole which I expect will minimise wearing to the sole. My sister recommended them as hers have lasted 20years!!!! They fit perfectly, are lightweight and are great for using instead of flip flops as they are more secure on the foot. Highly recommend! I have 25.5cm length feet but 10.5cm wide and would like to know if these would fit.** A: They are fully adjustable across the foot with velcro opening. my feet are 11cms wide and there's plenty of adjustment left for even wider feet than mine. Very useful when I damaged my foot and it was strapped up. **Q: Should I buy one size up? Also, are these ones plain black or shimmery, both are pictured?** A: No, don’t buy the size up. Get your size. Mine are plain black. The only thing is that at the beginning they were a bit tight on the front bit but in time they took the shape of my foot. Perseverance! I love these sandals, very practical, very durable and comfortable. I had them for about three years and still good. I do recommend them. **Q: How do these fit for size? I'm normally a 4 and a half and don't know whether I should size up or down - any advice?** A: I’m usually 6-6.5 and bought a 7 and it’s fine. I sized up as my feet are wide and I wanted extra protection. The straps are very forgiving so they should give you a comfy fit even if the sandals are not your usual size. **Q: Is the sole flexible or firm? Is the traction good? And i will probably end up buying in another colour too :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ fit true to size, very stable, protective and airy, but sole glue quickly failed *by M***J on 7 February 2026* very nice sandal, super comfy, but within 5 months the glue holding the outer sole to the last has started to fail, causing a "squeak" on each and every step. website tells me there is a 2 year warranty for manyfacturing defect, but is impossible to find the way to return this on the amazon or teva website.most frustrating.
