So if you drive pure electric there is no noise. Sometimes it changes its rev range and screams too early at 3000 rpm, and at other times the "throttle gets stuck" but who cares?? In the main- ace. It's true you can't listen to the stereo at the same time, but it sure does liven up the urban crawl. Can be difficult these days to find a radio channel with nothing on it- it transmits to FM- and travelling (even across town) you may need to retune the radio to stop interference. When dawdling along behind someone,and it is barely on idle, the V8 sounds as if it's about to attack as soon as it gets the chance. Think the engine noise in "Bullitt" and you have it. Would LOVE to hear this on a mega car system.
