Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope, 2450, Black Tube

Good quality product, worth the price.

I bought this for my wife as a gift as she works in ITU, she loves it. She said it is very comfortable, light weight, durable and good value for money.

I have been wanting one of these for years, they are close to being the Rolls Royce of stethoscopes. Thankfully they don't cost as much! The nursing stethoscope is slightly less expensive than some of the doctors Littmann's but what makes this so good for us is the shape of the head. Being egg shaped it fits snugly under BP cuffs compared to the usual round ones. The build quality of the Littmann is also far superior than that of your usual "cheapie" stethoscope you buy from web sites,and available in some funky colours now as well. That aside make sure you get it labelled because it's the sort of kit that can "grow legs" and walk!! If you want to do a proper job (and I do)! (..I work in a specialist Cardiac Hospital) you need a proper piece of kit. Unfortunately the NHS doesn't buy this sort of stuff anymore so we have to buy our own, but with quality like this it lasts for years. Sonically the diaphragm (high / low frequency options) are superb, pick up is exceptional, my audiophile engineer husband was astounded at the pick up & clarity, he sat attentively listening to various aspects of his body, hearing plenty that he'd not experienced before with my old "bog-standard" stethoscope, ...i'm actually glad the pup rummaged around in my work bag & destroyed the old one as this is of infinitely better quality & durable Worth every penny ...& more.

So not only was the product faulty there was a tear/split to the diaphragm which affects the sound quality and creates discomfort in the ear as the air goes through the lead and into the canal (feels like pressure on a plane) the actual outer casing of the original box was sellotaped the whole way around causing the box to peel away which took the information away with it... (On the back) Personally I like to keep my medical equipments original box's & preferably a undamaged one. The box stays closed on its own (like a Christmas card box that slots inside) there's no need for Amazon to sellotape it. Amazon agreed to replace... The actual product without faults is perfect for Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Nursing Students. Essential for learning manual blood pressures as the audio is high quality for even the faintest of BP's

I love these stethoscopes but on this occasion I was sent the black one when I ordered the burgundy. I needed it in a hurry so can’t afford to send it back and wait for another.

Clear sounds perfect to hear lung, heart and bowel sounds. The color is beautiful and it fits perfectly with any color scrubs. It is sturdy and easy to handle. The tubing is thick but not heavy on the neck, perfect for long hours of wear while doing your amazing work. It comes with replacement parts in case you loose them.

This is a really cheap and convenient stethoscope to use.It works really well.
