The best 'phones I've ever had for running (let's just hope they last!)
Long story short: I passed some perfectly good, reliable 'phones on to my wife, got a Taotronics replacement that ended up distorting constantly, and ended up getting these SoundPeats Q23s to replace the replacement.I've just completed a decent run with them and I have to say that so far, they're the best sports 'phones I've had.The good:- Exceptionally good fit once I changed to the largest set of gels in the pack. Ran for an hour in moderately strong wind (15-20 mph according to forecast) with mild rain and literally never once had to adjust them, and had no problems with the cable dragging when turning my head etc.- Very light, very comfortable and no annoying whistling when running into headwind (I've had that from previous 'phones!)- Easy pairing and no drop-outs- No distortion even on challenging tracks (very relieved about this)- Specs predict up to 7 hours playback which is pretty good compared to what I've had before- Tidy USB port with captive rubber cover that fits well.- Control buttons are small but well-placed and easy to operateThe bad:- Sound is good for sports 'phones but nothing special; a little lacking bass for my taste but I compensated for this in the player app.Bit of both:- Ambient noise isolation is average; I ran along the beach and could still hear the sea, windrush, the occasional seagull etc. On the plus side, I'll be able to wear these on roadside runs and hear approaching traffic.Bottom line is that they seem to be really good value (£16.99 a time of writing) for outdoor sporting use. Now I just need them to keep going for at least a year without any battery failures or sound degradation and I'll feel I've got my money's worth. I'll update this review if any disasters happen, but right now I'm very happy with my purchase.

A Real Shame
A real shame as these are roughly the same price of there Q9A's which I also have purchased some time ago. Anyway the Q9A's are far more better sounding and produce pretty good bass for a low end headphone (the mid's and high's aren't to bad neither) So if you think these Q23's are going to sound better as you would naturally assume (the model higher than Q9A's) you will be a little disappointed as I've tested these two headsets side by side and the Q9A's out perform the Q23's I'm sorry to say.. But as I say everyone has/is different so I'l leave it up to you.Joner (sound engineer. bass reflex patent designer and general HiFi nut -- er. and loving it.

Great earphones, excellent for running
I got these specifically for wearing when running and they are excellent.(I already own a pair of SoundPEATS Q21 Bluetooth earphones, which are great but the silicon earbuds slip out of my ears all the time when I go running)The hooks over the ears are extremely comfortable, very secure, and the earbuds don't move at all when running. They are very light so you barely feel them, and the cord around your neck is very slim so it doesn't bother you. Because the controls are on the earpiece, you don't have a button module bouncing around your neck or dragging the cable to one side. The main button is on the outside of the right earpiece, which is really easy to find and press for power, pairing, play/pause etc. The volume buttons are tucked away so you don't accidentally hit them, but still easy to press.Signal is very strong, and connection works first time. The signal distance is really good and doesn't get blocked by your body if your phone is in your back pocket.Sound quality is very good, with good bass and clear detail. They go loud enough, but they also allow you to hear a bit of background noise which is important for safety when you are running on a road.I'm really happy with these, and have already recommended them to a few other people.A great purchase, and I would definitely buy again.

Well made, attractive appearance, easy functionality, good sound quality - If you don't have aptX on your phone go for these
Overall: A good choice except if you can use aptX, in which case buy either Q9As or Q12s.Fit: I bought the Q12s initially, but had problems with them slipping out of my ears during exercise, so I got these instead: Completely secure and comfortable. A minor caveat is that the ear hooks are flexible but not conformable i.e. they can be bent but go back to the original shape unlike some other models.Sound: If you have an aptX enabled transmitting device (most modern Android phones, but not Apple) you will get better, clearer sound from headphones with a processor that can handle aptX,such as the CSR 8645. I believe the Q12s or Q9As (both of which I bought and are excellent) have the CSR 8645 chip.Otherwise these are as good as anything else, with the added benefit of producing a neutral sound (not set up to emphasise bass or treble) and certainly more than adequate for exercise purposes.Quality: Excellent. Box, accessories, build quality, finish, functionality, usablity. All are as good as you could ask for at this price point, and I would guess probably as good as headphones twice the price - the plastics, batteries and chip sets aren't going to be that different.

Perfect running headphones
I never usually leave reviews but feel completely compelled to because these headphones are AMAZING.I originally bought the Bose Soundsport ones for a whopping £160, only to discover they wouldn't stay in my ears. Hugely frustrating, especially at a high price point. Fit and comfort were therefore a huge deal for me, and these headphones tick the box perfectly. They are so snug and secure (I just ran 9 miles in them and didn't have to adjust them once), noise cancelling and have good volume. The bass is a little lacking but I just tweaked the music settings on my phone to make the most of what bass I can, and they're great. Nice little box and set of instructions too, and they charge quickly. Really really happy and would thoroughly recommend, particular to runners who have had issues with their headphones not staying in.

Disappointed to say the least...
I had a similar pair of headphones by another brand, which were fantastic. After sadly leaving them in the gym (and some thief not handing them in) I was in need of another pair, so bought these ones following a bit of a review-hunt. These headphones had glowing reviews and now I'm asking myself how???At first they connected easily and it seemed that the sound quality was pretty good too (on to a winner!), but then during my 2nd workout the Bluetooth disconnected and wouldn't reconnect. I had to "forget the device" and re-pair the entire thing! All seemed to be well for the next workout, but then on the 4th one the same issue happened again; literally just disconnected from Bluetooth with no prior warning or reason.I was prepared to give these headphones the benefit of the doubt, but now I'm satisfied with the fact that they are just a bit crap.My pennies are being saved and I'm now leaning towards spending a bit extra and buying something that works. All the time.

Quality for a good price
I got these a couple of days ago. They arrived quickly and were well presented. They were partially charged and so I set them up to complete their charge which took about 1 to 1.5hrs. I then set them up with my phone which took well under a minute to do - not fidderly at all.I didn't have an opportunity to use them for a couple of days then took them to the gym. I pressed the on button and within 2 seconds I heard through the earpiece a little voice telling me that they had conected to the phone. I then pressed the play button on my phone and was really surprised at the quality of sound that came into my ears. Maybe not £300 sound quality but it is as good as the sound quality from a wired set I paid £90 for. They fitted snuggly in my ears and throughout quite a rigorous gym routine they never ever felt like they were going to fall out, they were really comfortable.I am really chuffed with these and for the amount I paid I feel that I got a real bargin.11-12-17 Update: I have been constantly using these since purchase, pretty well everyday, and they are still as good as new. The sound hasn't deteriorated, battery time is still long and pairing works really well. I am really pleased with these headphones and when they do eventually give up the ghost or get lost I will be getting another pair.
