Puzzle Mates Portapuzzle Standard 1000 (Jigsaw Puzzle Accessory)

I wasn't too sure about buying it from reviews that said "you get what you pay for" and the "inner lining was a little loose", but I am so glad I bought it. It is fantastic. Very sturdy and durable. It does exactly what it needs to, it looks like it's a lot more expensive than it was. The lining is perfectly tight and a really good material for holding the puzzle pieces in place perfectly. I've had it for about a month and I'm about halfway through my 1000 piece puzzle, and I am very, very pleased with this product. I would fully recommend this for anyone who likes jigsaws. I really like the handy extra pieces that pull out too, as they can be used for holding your partly-built puzzle in place, and also for sorting out pieces for the next bit you want to build. Great buy!! EDIT: It's now 2023 and I'm still using this exact same one 10 years on. It's a little frayed at the edges but other than that it's absolutely perfect. Would fully recommend it, especially for how long-lasting it is! Great value. 🙂

I must confess I bought this BEFORE reading the reviews and when I saw how divided they were I was convinced I had made a mistake. It arrived today and I can honestly say I am perfectly happy with it. I have always loved passing the time with a good jiggie of 1000 pieces or more and this board is already making life easier. I started a jiggie today and have tried folding it away and carrying it. I found it all stayed together and didn't move. I can now leave my jiggie on the floor without dreading the cat running over it and sending it flying.The working surface works for me. The pieces don't move about. I usually buy Ravensburger jigsaws and the one I am doing right now is sitting perfectly. If I had read the very negative reviews first I might not have bought this and went for something more expensive so I am glad I made a purchase on impulse just this once.

I was a bit hesitant about buying this as there were some poor reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance, really pleased with it. It certainly beats the green felt that I was using to do jigsaws on. Stored vertically some of the loose pieces do slip around a bit, but the jigsaw stays intact. I haven't had a problem either with the flatness of the surface, which some reviewers have criticised, although perhaps if it was a very cheap jigsaw with very thin pieces this could be an issue, but I always go for good quality jigsaws. When opened out on the table it is rather large, but I guess it couldn't be much smaller and still hold a 1000 piece jigsaw. Very quick and easy though to fold up if the table is needed for other things.

This has been brilliant for storing and carrying jigsaw puzzles without losing pieces or ruining progress. The size is excellent for standard puzzles and it makes it really easy to pause, pack away, and continue later without needing to leave a puzzle spread across a table. It’s also very handy for taking puzzles with you when travelling or moving between rooms. The board keeps pieces secure surprisingly well and overall the quality feels sturdy enough for regular use. Simple idea, but extremely useful for anyone who enjoys doing jigsaws regularly.

Great idea for jigsaws it's not cheap but at least you can put it away till the next time you are doing your jigsaw what a great idea I use mine all the time

I was very surprised at how thick the case is. Very secure, I have a 19 month old who loves to get into things but no matter how he tries he can't. Great! It has two A3 boards inside to put puzzle pieces on which are thick and hardy and stop the pieces from moving much - less chance of losing any. It can be stood up and tucked away as its thin even with the puzzle inside without it moving to much. Overall Im am extremely happy with this purchase and will be recommending to family and friends. This is one of the best buys I have had, we tend to do jigsaws in the winter months as a family and we only have one table, so to be able to fold it all up and keep it safe has been really good. also there are internal mats that you can place your jigsaw pieces on when you sort them out, again these can be paced inside the unit to keep them safe.

Perfect! You build the puzzle in the middle section, which is large enough to cope with a 1,000 piece puzzle. (Larger size ones are available if you go for really large puzzles). You sort out the other pieces on the pads right and the left hand sides. To put a partly completed puzzle away, you place the left and right hand pads on the middle section then fold the right and the left had selections over, close it, store it away (flat - we put it under our sofa), and that's it. It could not be simpler.
