OSRAM ORIGINAL W5W halogen, position and number plate light, 2825-02B, 12V, double blister (Pack of 2)

I own a Ford Mondeo and was considering purchasing a complete kit for my rear plaque. However, after watching a helpful YouTube video, I realized that a complete kit wasn't necessary. I opted for this bulb instead and found changing the broken one incredibly easy. Not only is it more cost-effective, but it also works perfectly for mirror lamps. Highly recommended!

Really solid bulbs from OSRAM. They are easy to fit and give a clean, bright light that works perfectly for both position and number plate use. Build quality feels dependable, and they’ve been working without any issues so far. Getting a pack of 10 is great value too. Handy to have spares ready when needed. A simple, reliable choice that does the job well.

Having cut corners previously with cheap non-branded bulbs which lasted a few weeks l've learned my lesson and now use these. Reliable in that once correctly fitted (using gloves) they last years. They fit perfectly as they are correctly manufactured. The light they throw out is excellent too. If you value your time (and safety) these are a far better choice than the cheaper alternatives. Recommended.

One of the 2 number-plate bulbs had failed on my 2008 Nissan Note E11. I bought a 2 pack as I didn't want it to be mismatched - brighter/dimmer/different colour than the original. In the end it's a perfect match for the OEM bulb so I didn't need to replace the other one. Normal white/yellow light, not daft eye-searing ultra Xenon tat. Good stuff.

Packaged in environmentally safe cardboard, these do the job. OEM quality, so should last 5+ years. The first car I bought, one of these bulbs blew and within a year, every other one of the same kind did the same - so unless you're selling the car or your car uses mostly LED lights already, it makes no sense to buy one or two of these. You might as well replace in sets of them at the same time to save yourself the hassle of replacement when the weather is dreary (because you know that's when they'll fail). Oh and a tip for replacing bulbs in the car - always put a large cloth underneath - stuffed in the cavity where you have to wrangle with fittings to replace the bulb - this way the cloth will catch the bulb/bulb holder/tools - much easier than fishing for them later or losing a glass bulb under the engine!

Cheap enough, respected brand, but seemingly incorrectly described. Bought these bulbs as described as Halogen 6000k white. They appear to be 'plain old'tungsten with the very warm standard colour output. At #2.00 I'll be keeping them, but in case anyone else is looking please be advised.
