Previously, we've had a Dyson upright hoover for 10 years. So replacing our old hoover with another Dyson makes sense. The new Dyson 455665 Light Ball Multi Floor Bagless+ is quieter, easier to move around, and great all-around hoover. The suppler or Amazon provided a much appreciated, competitive price. A couple of little "niggles" with the hoover itself: (1) when wheeling the hoover, the front often drops down randomly, so then you drag the hoover rather than wheel it. This didn't happen on the old Dyson hoover, (2) not all the tool attachments fit onto the upright, so you may need to hunt around the tool you want - which may be at the opposite end of the house. Dyson may have dropped the ball on perfecting the best design. Neither "niggle" is a big problem, just something you remember. At the time of purchase, Dyson provide a generous 5-year guarantee if you register with them.

Day 1 and I’m very happy. You know you’ve reached middle-age when you get excited about a vacuum cleaner. Cleaned my entire house yesterday and this worked so well. Very easy to maneuver. Easy to switch to attachments (once you figure it out), easy to empty the ‘bag’, very long cord to go from room to room and it’s very quiet compared to my last one. It was a bit heavy to do the stairs, but I managed. Hopefully it lasts a long time, will have to wait to see.

Best vacuum I have ever owned! Lightweight and effective, though not every attachment csn be stored on it, so I have to keep some in a bag, but that is fine by me.

Bought this as a replacement for the DC25 I have been using for the last decade. In comparison to the older model, this one is very cheaply made. Does not feel sturdy and the plastics are of a far more inferior quality. Not light at all, hard to turn, nothing like the older model. Very disappointed. The only positive is that it does suck well.P.S. it came in its own box, not in any packaging. Very battered and I thought I would find it in pieces in the box... Thankfully it works!

LOVE Dyson products!!And this vacuum is no exception! I have a Dyson in the U.S., and knew that would be the answer here in the U.K.! Suction is fabulous, it is quite impressive. Thank you, Dyson!

This item is described as a dyson LIGHT BALL ,this is not so ,we are elderly people , and find that it is far too heavy, and for some reason does not glide on the carpet as it should ,it takes a lot of effort to push, our old machine is a DS50 ,and is far the lighter and better machine.

It' a very good vacuum cleaner for sure. No complaint there. The only thing I'm dinging it on is tool storage. It seems like you can only store half the tools and they aren't very secure at that. Still - it has plenty of suction, is fairly light and is easy to move around. My last Dyson survived over ten years and it was basically me that broke it. So yeah - good product.
