Simple, easy to use, holds phone securely
Really impressed with this phone holder. The design is very simple but all the better for it.It holds my Motorola G7 Power (in a silicone case) securely and grips the dashboard of my Hyundai i10 firmly, it hasn’t moved a mm so far. The device itself is well made and feels like it will be durable. Assembly and installation couldn’t be easier. It arrives as flat mat with two sets of upright pegs to choose from. Simply pick the pegs that best fit your device and attach them to the mat by pushing the small nubs on the base of the pegs through the holes in the mat. I had read a couple of reviews that stated that this assembly process was tricky but I found it to be very easy. Just stretch the mat a little to elongate the holes and job done. Once in places the pegs appear to be very secure. With the holder now assembled, installing it in the car is a doddle. In fact, “installing” is really too grand a word for the process. Simply pick a suitable spot and places the mat on it. That’s it. The flexible base easily moulds itself to slight undulations from air vents and similar. Once in place the holder looks unobtrusive and doesn't interfere with the drivers line of vision. To be honest it just looks like a part of the dashboard but if it did bother you when not in use you can just pick it up and chuck it somewhere out of sight. Another advantage of it not being fixed in place is that you can just move it between all the cars in your household or even use it in the house to hold a tablet or whatever. Maybe even a book!Very pleased with my purchase, easily the best solution for mounting a phone in the car that I’ve found so far and at less than a tenner I think it’s a bit of a bargain. My car is basic so I use the phone for playing music and navigation and having it mounted centrally in clear view and knowing that it won’t move is just really useful.

A really useful and functional piece of kit!
A very simple idea and product ...... but very often they are the best! This car 'phone holder, which incidentally also holds my Garmin Sat Nav very safely is well made and appears very durable. It is very grippy on the dash and hasn't moved a millimetre since we put it there. The flexible base easily moulds itself to slight undulations from air vents and similar. You may have to push your satnav in a couple of times before the 'slot' adapts to the thicker size (we found that warming the material with a hair dryer worked a treat) but then it's perfect. Looks good because it's so unobtrusive and doesn't cause any loss of forward vision for the same reason. We are really pleased with it, having had a series of other satnav holders from grip magnets (that kept dropping the satnav and one that broke the air vent) to window mounted mechanisms that popped off or rattled, but this is the best without doubt.

Very useful if you use your phone for navigation in your car
I love this because its just as easy to remove as it is to place, no suction cup business that leaves a mark on your window. The bottom part of this item is grippy so it easily sticks to the dash of the car but leaves no residue when you take it off. The only issue I have with this item is that its a bit difficult to place the mounting 'arms' into the base.

By far the best mobile phone holder I’ve ever used
By far the best mobile phone holder I’ve ever used. I could leave it there, but to give you some context...It holds my phone securely and in a good position; it can be removed/repositioned quickly, and leaves no marks; it stays in place and doesn’t slide around. Seems to work well on curved dash areas, as well as flat.Previously I have used/tried and dismissed a) suction mounts (which leave marks on windscreen and have habit of falling off at most inconvenient time, plus they’re ugly IMO); b) air vent mounts (IMO they hinder the flow if air from the vent; always worry they will damage the vent and past experience shows they’re not very stable); c) magnetic mounts (similar reasons to the others). In summary, it’s simple. It works. I’m happy with that.

Good phone holder
This is the third phone holder I've tried in my car and it's the better one. Doesn't slip or move at all.

Grippy mount that works best with slim phones
I’ve tested this mount in two different cars with a couple of devices. How well it works comes down entirely to your dashboard angle and phone thickness. What Works WellSmart, subtle looks: The black finish with racing-style branding fits in nicely with most car interiors without looking cheap.Secure on flat surfaces: On a flat dashboard section, the rubbery base stays put and holds firm during everyday driving.Restorable grip: The base does pick up dust and lose friction over time, but a quick rinse under a tap brings the stickiness straight back.Accessible charging: The slot leaves enough room at the bottom to plug a charging cable in while driving without bending the lead.Snug with slim phones: My compact, slim Samsung fits into the grooves firmly without wobbling. What Needs ImprovementUseless on sloped dashboards: My previous car had a slightly angled dash. Despite the grippy material, braking sharply almost launched the mount and my phone straight out of an open window.Unsteady with thicker phones: A chunkier Xiaomi phone didn't sit securely in the grooves at all. It felt loose, like it could pop out over a sudden speed bump or sharp corner.Who It's ForBest for drivers who have a flat, level spot on their dashboard and use a slim phone without a bulky protective case.Top TipIf the base starts sliding around, don't throw it out. Washing the dust off under a cold tap and letting it air dry brings back the original grip completely

Clever device
I have been looking for car holder for an iphone for ages. Didn't want one of those ugly things on a stalk so thought of one that works with magnets, but these, I understand, interfere with wireless charging. They also require a metal plate stuck on the phone or the case. This thing is very simple - a non-slip rubber mat with 4 rubber 'clips'. You just push the phone into them and they hold it tight. Because they are flexible, they can deal with a case. The whole thing sits on the dash and - so far - does not move. It leaves no mark and is very slim so can be popped into the the glovebox. I also wanted to use it in a hire car - this is perfect because it is small, light and almost flat so can be transported easily. So a clever solution that does exactly what I wanted and all for a tenner. I am so impressed I am buying another one!

Solid as a rock! Best in-car holder
After years of hassle using windscreen suckers I have finally found the solution to how to hold my mobile whilst using the GPS. This is such a simple solution. How it works:- The bottom of the mat is "sticky" and grips onto the dashboard. If it stops being "sticky" then you give it a rinse under the tap and it will regain its stickiness.- You get two sizes of support arms - one for big devices and the other for thinner ones. I use the big one with my mobile as I have a case on it. You also get the choice of two viewing angles with each arm. Some notes:- You can adjust the gap between the pair of arms to suit your mobile. I had to make it wider initially as the arms were touching/putting pressure on the screen which confused it as it thought I was pressing it.- Your dashboard does not have to be completely flat as the mat is flexible. Obviously the flatter the dashboard the more stable it is.- My phone has never fallen off the mat. This is after 6 months of driving.- The phone must be used in the landscape positionConclusion:I like this a lot and even take it with me overseas on holiday. In some countries it is illegal to have windscreen suckers obscuring the driver's view but I would imagine this won't break that rule.Seller Communication:I found the seller was easy to get in touch with and replied promptly to my queries. Always good to see that.
