Toni & Guy Hair Clay, for Men, Moulding Clay, Styling Clay 75 ml

After buying Label M matt paste afew times, I realised it was quite pricey, so I decided to try this, Toni & Guys own. I really liked it and since buying my first pot, ive since bought 2 more pots. :)My hairstyle is a 'skin fade long top'. I simply put this in my hair and comb my hair all the way back. This matt paste has a nice but neutral smell and it keeps my hair in place when combed back. If you use a little bit you will have a matt finish, although if you need to use abit more, it can seem abit greasy, but that still looks stylish to me personally, so it doesnt bother me.You can run your fingers or comb through your hair very easily to adjust parts of your hair, this isnt sticky or too thick which is really good, its consistancey is just right. You can apply this to dry or damp hair, however I wouldnt suggest using this on wet hair.Just place a finger sized amount in your palm and rub together in your hands and fingers, and apply. Use more if needed.The product also washes out well with a little shampoo. You can even keep it in your hair for 2 or 3 days and just top it up everyday. Its not healthy to wash your hair with shampoo every single day anyway. You need natural oils in your hair.Overall I rate this product and recommend it.

It's nearly 10 years since I found a product that works for me. I have thick short hair that doesn't stay in place which is very annoying! With only a tiny amount of this product my hair stays in place and looks great! It has a great feel all day long. It washes out easily as well. I hope very much they don't stop manufacturing this product or alter it. I will use it until I go bald.P.s. Reasonable price too!

Bought for my 13y old who’s obsessed with his hair. Says it does the job not the best but not the worst either. Smells nice but doesn’t hold his style all day.

This is a great product and I’ve tried the other styling ones. I don’t have a favourite, it’s nice to change a different one once the item runs out. This gives a matte effect and not greasy at all. I apply to dry hair. I have short sides and longer on top to the side. Keeps it styled with a natural look.

Not very strong but that is possibly the intended effect.

Like the clay, easy to apply, doesnt look shiny, does not leave you with sticky hands when you touch you hair during the day. and most importantly prevents my jumpy hair from going wild

Gives a nice texture, works well with thin-medium hair, though I have to use hairspray to keep in place despite having relatively short hair.

I have been buying this exact brand of clay for a couple if years, fed up with the £7 or so from Boots i usually pay I tried Amazon yet it's definitely a softer clay and consequently an inferior product to any of the others I've previously bought from Boots. I think it's part of a dodgy batch that shouldn't really have made it to the highstreet. it still works but is not as good as it should be and I couldn't be bothered to return it but I'll not purchase this from Amazon again.
