LeatherWorks: Traditional Craft for Modern Living

Such a beautiful book and very clearly written. I bought this for a mate really into craft and making and ended up buying another for myself even though it's not my thing at all! My friend says it's kept him really busy and I've found a whole new hobby. Evidently brilliant for beginners and experts alike.

Love this book. Very simple , but interesting projects.

In many ways this is a first class book on leatherworking with some good creative projects. Not every project will appeal. but enough to make the book a worthwhile purchase. The language used in explanation is a bit complex and not always easy to understand, but the pictures are good and make it possible to work out construction methods without having to completely decipher the written words. Nevertheless, the language style is not easy, hence loss of a star.

Love it... a good amount of pictures and a step by step guide. Overall, great book ✨

bought the kindle version (should have bought the physical copy) and i am not impressed don't get me wrong the leatherworker is excellent but the book doesn't have enough detail on any of the projects in my opinion. would have also been nice to have a pattern or two thrown in.

I like this book as it covers the subject quite well. I have done leather work years ago, and wanted to update my skills, and I think this book does that well.

Complete guide for beginners. With projects to do and useful advice.

It’s a very well presented book. Good quality of paper and covers. The information is a bit short in explanation if you are un experienced as me, but you can complement it with youtube guides.

Its a great book for beginners to intermediate level. It provides useful tips from experienced crafter. The instructions are detailed and illustrations are clear. What I liked the most is that the projects are interesting to work with. You get a chance to work on projects like weaving leather chair and lamp shades etc.

Schönes Buch. Hab weniger die Techniken gebraucht als die schöne Aufmachung und Ideen für weitere Projekte. Falls man erst die Lederbearbeitung lernt würde ich auf ein anderes Buch zurückgrrifen

Beautiful book! It has some really unique examples of modern design with leather. If you’re just getting started it may not be the best choice, since the how-tos aren’t very detailed. But if you’ve been working with leather for a while and you’re looking for inspiration, this is a fantastic book.
