This is the third Remington Barba I have had over the years, and I think the fact that I keep coming back speaks volumes about them. The problem is that each time they've given in (or I've worn them out), I thought I knew best and decided to find a better one to replace it. I searched around and found something that had more bells and whistles, was sucked in by the reviews and gimmicks and fell for the promises that I had found a perfect replacement. NOT! After a relatively short time, this new device would begin to show its weak points, the gimmicks that I never used, or indeed needed and its longevity clearly wasn't a patch on the Barba. So I replaced it with another Barba. A few years pass by and hey presto - déjà vu. Been here before. I've worn it out - but this time I WILL find a better one. And I thought I had until thing's began to repeat themselves. Lights failed. It wouldn't charge - or hold it's charge, accessories became loose, etc., etc. So here we are again. My third Remington Barba. The design hasn't changed much over the years. Its battery was upgraded a few years back, and the pop-up detailing trimmer is much better than it used to be. But there are no fancy lights, no numerical illuminated remaining power indicators, no clip on accessories and it's not really waterproof. But those niggles aside, for your money, you get a good, solid and reliable piece of kit. And guess what? It's a good beard trimmer. A very good trimmer indeed. So don't waste your time looking for something better. You won't find one, and it's time you'll never get back. You've been looking for good beard trimmer - Right? Of course you are. That's why you're reading this. Well, you've found it.

Topline ... Brilliant, provides a great length range to chose from, is easily adjusted and cuts extremely well. Overall I am really impressed with this beard trimmer - the guide is easily adjusted from 1.5 to 18 mm, or the guide can be taken completely off for a close trim... will never be as close as a shaver, this is a trimmer, not a shaver. Also, it is extremely easy to grip and feels nice when in the hand - which in turn means easy to control while using. The only very minor note is that wish the number display (1-9) next to the adjustment wheel was bigger to see - it is very small, to the point I only just noticed it. It would have been nice to have a travel case included, but that will obviously push the price up a bit. Would definitely recommend - well built, nice design, reasonable price - an easy 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think this is a pretty good trimmer. Easy to use and set to length. I cant comment on effectiveness for longer beards as I cut mine to 4 or 5 mm and works great. Think the comments that guard breaks when cleaning must be done by heavy handed people or those that haven't read instructions. Just rotate the wheel to max length and gently wiggle it and comes off easily. Put back the same. Nice pop up trimmer. With it set to 3mm I have also cut my hair with it and works fine. I have only taken 1 star off probably should be half a star as recharge is long. 14 to 16 hours but in reality for me it isn't an issue. Shave once a week then plug it in overnight. Not a deal breaker. All in i am very happy with it. 4.5/5

Unsure as to why there’s so many negativity for this beard trimmer . I owned one until around 2005 & was sad that the battery gave up some many yrs later, but I did use the hell out of it & it still functioned in the mains power . I decided to give it my son being that it still worked & got a different cordless trimmer. It never hit the spot like the Remington . It gave a uneven beard trim . It felt cumbersome in my hand where as this Remington doesn’t. I got tired of misplacing the clip on guards & the battery wasn’t a patch on this . it was great to find out they still sold this trimmer so I ditched the chunky one with its many guards and was delighted to be the owner of this model again . Its still serving me well some four years on . I use regular around 52 times per year roughly on a weekly basis . Its holding charge great & i fully recharge it around 4 times per year. It’s battery holds enough power for roughly 20 trims or more on full charge. Great for when away on holiday . The build quality is excellent . The handy built in guard trimmer that you simply turn a wheel to adjust length is a great idea . It’s robust, & also when you pull the main guard off there a handy detailer that pops out . When looking at reviews it can be off putting & you seem to focus only on the bad reviews & skip the good ones. This is my 2nd Remington & I never had any trouble. After trying other beard trimmers with separate guards nothing compares to this all in one . I 5⭐️ Rate this product. I paid for it it wasn’t a free gift for reviews which annoy me as they say rubbish is good . This really is a good trimmer & for the deal it’s at now even better .

I don't have a beard but I hate being clean shaven, instead preferring the look of about 3 days' growth, which for me equates to around 2mm of stubble. After doing a bit of research I decided on the Remington Professional MB320C and after 3 weeks of regular use I'm very impressed. The comb guard that covers the blade is cleverly designed so that there's no chance of accidentally taking off too much length. After reading reviews of other similar products and seeing people complaining about poor guard design requiring very careful angling and positioning of the trimmer, I was very pleased to find that with the Remington you can just casually hack away with no danger whatsoever of taking too much off and ending up with a patchy beard/patchy stubble. The battery seems to last for a while as I've used it roughly once every other day and it hasn't needed another charge yet. It's also got a decent precision trimmer on the reverse, so you can trim sideburns etc. This is a great product and is perfect whether you just want stubble or you've got a proper beard to maintain. It's also good value for money too given the price tag. **Update 18/05/2013** Still going strong! On average I've used it twice per week, every week, and the blades are still sharp and cut well. The battery life has declined and a full charge is now enough for about an hour of constant usage, but this has only happened over the last couple of years and I doubt it'd present much of an issue unless you were using it every day. **Update 03/10/2017** It's still going and still cutting well! The battery struggles a lot now and is operating at a charge:shave ratio of 1:1, but I just run it directly off the mains using an extension lead so it's not an issue.

... and I mean that literally. The pop-up beard trimmer actually does trim close, so that you can trim the edge of your beard neatly. I've tried several other beard trimmers in the same price range and they all leave about 1mm of hair whereas this one is nice and close. Plus, this model has an adjustable attachment for standard trimming, all self-contained so you won't be fiddling around with detachable accessories. It loses 1/2 a star because of the proprietary charger and plug - if it was usb-c it would be just about perfect. Once you take it apart, it doesn't quite "grip" the pop-up beard trimmer quite the same way - another thing I wish Remington would iron out in a future model. For now, though, it's by far the best in its price range.

Bought this to replace a model that required me to keep a bag of plastic heads even though I only use 2 or 3. It does the job and quality seems in line with price. But why oh why in this day and age do we have to endure proprietary power adaptors? I very nearly did not buy on principle because of this (and DID include "USB C") in my search. Since the product itself seems OK I only docked 2 stars, although I did consider 3. And 16 hours charge time!!! Are you serious? It did arrive fully charged so I can't confirm if that is required.

I got this on the basis of a review of beard trimmers in the Guardian, this was listed as the best budget buy. The Amazon price was very good. The review mentioned that Remington have been making this model basically unchanged for years. It sits in the hand very easily and being able to change the trim length with the scroll wheel is very handy. It trims well, better than my Phillips trimmer. The only negative is the amount of time it takes to charge. Happy overall.

Do tej pory byłem fanem Philips OneBlade, jednak nożyki są bardzo kosztowne. Przy twardym zaroście trzeba je bardzo często wymieniać. Remington bardzo dobrze radzi sobie nawet z twardym zarostem. Dzięki możliwości regulacji długości cięcia, każdy będzie mógł w łatwy sposób zadbać o swoją brodę :) Akumulatorek wystarcza naprawdę na wiele sesji, więc bez obaw! Ładowanie również następuje dosyć szybko.

I'd been using this model for about 10 years. Only bought 2 in that time. Excellent job. I lost my last one when moving and bought another brand for a similar price. It's going in the bin. Picked up my new one of these today. Two minutes, perfect finish for facial hair, no hassles. Not as good as hair in areas a lady may want to examine with some scrutiny (it does nick wrickly areas) but I am my trimmed goatee are so glad to be home.
