i brought this item for my partner, he said it was great, soft bristles, great handle, he was a happy chappy, he said it was one of the best brushes he has use, and shaving soap really larvers up with this brush, not like the other brushes he has used, he said the bristles kept fallen out handle not great but on this brush he said hardly any fell out and great handle to, he has had this brush a few months now and its still going strong, it looks just like when i brought it,as for me i wasnt to sure of buying it due to price of it, and seeing the other brushes he has used, i could hold the brush and just pull slightly on it and the bristles would come out in my hand, i thought omg im going to buy this and in week thats it in the bin, but not this brush its very well made in deed very strong brush strong bristles strong handle, worth the money, so if you want a great brush for shaving this is it.

This brush works fine as expected.

Does the job and nice looking

I bought this for a decent price, and given it states 100% badger hair brush, thought it would be a good investment. The item comes well presented and seems well made. I have used this a few times now and it is very soft and lathers reasonably well, although not as good as hoped. My only mark down would be for the size of this. It is small and not suitable to use in a decent sized shaving cup, which is a shame. I would not put people off buying it, but just like to point out the size of this.

Much cheaper, softer and durable than my previous brush and fits smartly into my wooden set. I waited a couple of months to review and haven't had a single hair come out while shaving. Produces a good lather with a quality soap. The only thing negative I have notices is a few hairs on the outer circumference spreading out. What more can I say - will definitely buy again at this price.

Bought July 2016 and been on daily use since. To begin with there was some hair loss. But don't be put off this is a wonderful shaving brush. If you have only ever used a bristle shaving brush then you are in for a revelation. So smooth and yet producing the most wonderful lather. Coupled with a pot of Wilkinson sword shaving soap I have had I 8 months of shaving for about £13 and the brush is going to last ages longer compare that against shaving gel...no brainer.Update March 2018 brush still in daily use, still producing thick creamy lather and still is looking good and that's after 19 months continuous use and I would still buy again

It's a good product and I very much like the wooden handle, its colour and the texture of the actual brush, which creates a rich lather and has a lovely feeling on the face. On the negative side though, after the first application it gives an unpleasant smell while it is wet. In addition to that, when it gets wet (something you certainly expect for an item used for wet shaving) I get water coloured from the brushe's wooden handle varnish on my sink. Maybe it will stop coming off after a number of uses but generally not something you expect from such a brush.

I am really pleased with my new brush (to be honest my old one was well passed sell by date).I have found it applying lather really easy with this brush, maybe not as soft as some but you want some stiffness to lift bristles and I have no complaints; especially considering price compared with many shaving brushes.I would have no hesitation recommending this brush for its excellent quality and price.One thing to note it is badger hair if this gives you any qualms.
