5 Star Premier Scissors with Rubber Handles 210mm - Ref 909272

My previous scissors had chewed a piece of silk which I was going to use for an embroidery. I had tried sharpening them but it didn't seem to help, so I needed a new pair of scissors. I was concerned about the quality of these scissors before I ordered them, could something so cheap could be any good.I showed them to my mother who is a time served dressmaker and made the gowns for dignitaries and celebrities as well as suits for gentlemen. So she knows her sewing equipment much better than I do and she said that they were good quality. She also had me order 3 more pairs.They are great at cutting linin, aida and silk (which are what I have used them for), and cotton, polyester and faux-sheepskin (which is what my mother has used them for).The 5 star scissors are definitely 5 star. Please don't be put off by the cheapness of them; they are definitely a class pair of scissors.

These scissors are fantastic.They feature a hard black plastic holder with a softer, more cushioned red inner protector. This means cutting is softer on your fingers.The scissors themselves are sharp and cut through a variety of objects thus far - laminating pouches, paper, cloth and cardboard. The scissors are of a good size and so aren't to bulky to cut around sharp edges.In all a fantastic scissor for the money.

Good value but somewhat lightweight and flimsy.Nice and sharp but not suitable for heavier duty cutting like cardboard or cloth.

Nice to hold, cut well so far. Does what it says on the tin!

The scissors are slightly big so watch when using them, but sturdy - would recommend.

Product is EXACTLY as described - purchased these bargain scissors for a lengthy admin task involving lots of laminated cards (over 450 in total) and now use them for everything admin related! Really lovely design and so comfy to use for hours on end, great product! And an absolute steal for the price...

Cheap and nasty. Useless scissors. Wouldn't cut anything more than thin paper. When you hold them up to light you can see a large gap between the blades, utterly useless, very poor quality of product, literally Not Fit For Purpose. I sent them back and had a refund except for my postage and packaging costs, so all in all I lost out with this company? No postage refund given even though evidence of cost was evident.

These have gone up a heck of a lot in price compared to when I ordered at the end of 2019. Think I paid £1-2 or something like that and I wish I'd bought more than 1 pair. They are really nice scissors to use. Sharp, robust and comfortable/easy to use. Would highly recommend.
