FINIS Original Swimmer's Snorkel, Yellow, Junior

My 9 yr old is in a swimming club and needed this. She is quite delicate featured and this fits her well but has room for growth! She raved about it after her first use. I got the yellow so it was easier to hand on if ever needed.

Terrible product. Head strap relies on flimsy plastic clips to lock the head strap into place. The plastic clip broke after one use, rendering the product useless. Awful waste of money. It literally broke on the first use, but I can’t return it as we’d had it a while whilst we were waiting for my son’s swimming club to do a session where they used it.

Nice design - maybe should be supplied with the optional no return valve as that is tricky to fit and makes the snorkel that much more user friendly - use by my 10 year old who says it is comfortable - but he has nothing to compare it to.

Can use a long time

What a flash piece of kit! My 9 year old is all proud. This is the junior snorkel! Finis have a clever video on their website about this snorkel that shows you the ins and outs and purpose. Minor issues are perhaps that you can only get the junior in yellow, that the included nose clip can easily be lost as there is nowhere to put it, and that the curved plastic bar that rests against your bony forehead is a bit hard but it seems not too bad if it's over the swim hat.

Fits perfectly on my 10yr old daughter - not too small so as to get swamped as she swims, and not too big that she can't clear it with a big blow after a tumble turn (like with the full size model).

It lasted only a few weeks. Child was trying to tighten up and it broke useless

great quality and very useful for our 4 year old who is a really strong swimmer looking to build distance

I have 4 swimmers in my family. My middle child uses this snorkel (she's a tall 10 yo) She probably could have went with the normal size snorkel, but then it's harder to master - especially during those flip turns. She's a great swimmer, and the snorkel (when her coach makes her use it) has her focusing more on her stroke, and less on her breathing. I've also notice that she doesn't bounce as much when she uses it - because if she bounces, she'll get water in the tube. DO NOT get the insert to help keep water out - you're kids lungs will explode while they try to breath air in - with the cap on it's like giving them a bar straw to breath through. Might be a good tool for the older swimmers trying to build up their lungs, but that's something definately not needed until college levels or above.

This snorkel is really good for kids to train under water. Good quality and safe to use. Strong recommend

This product was cheaper and arrived faster then we could get it from the team swim store. Was exactly what the team needed and saved a bit of money!
