There are not enough of the matching jigsaw-type pieces which seem to be favoured and would make the matching more interesting. The colours are bright enough but not garish and the pictures not too simplistic. The child finds it exciting and challenging at the same time, and a good introduction to the different sounds the letters can make. I would recommend this to anyone.

An engaging and educational game. Perfect for a reception year child that has progressed from first sounds. I like the thickness of the cardboaord pieces, I can see this lasting well. This has been a good independent activity for my class to do as an early finisher, whilst I am teaching. One side of the word has the sounds and the other has none, so there are two levels to this activity. The only downside is that I am missing some letters.
