This is by far the best wine opener and MUCH easier to use than any other type. All you do is put it over the cork and keep twisting in the same direction until the cork comes out. It self-corrects when it is fully extended into the cork and gently lifts it out. No leverage or strength needed and no risk of tipping the bottle over. Also, it's very easy to remove the cork from the corkscrew in tact so you can re-cork the bottle. Just squeeze the sides against the cork to hold it in place as you twist the corkscrew back out. AMAZINGLY SIMPLE!

We purchased this as a replacement for the similar type which had broken after many years of regular use. Although this one does not appear to be quite as robust ,it is so far performing well.If it lasts as long as our last model , we will be impressed

I’ve bought 3 of these in just over 2 years. They have all split at the upper end of one of the arms. They are just flimsy and not worth the money. It’s a good idea and easy to use but the cheap plastic used just isn’t good enough for the job .

Literally the best thing I’ve ever used.

This is the easiest and best corkscrew . This the third purchase however, the last one only lasted 2 years with screw breaking from the handle and it would seem that the fixing is not robust enough. Hope that this one last many years like the first one purchased.

Highly recommend this corkscrew. Used one in a holiday cottage and had to buy one when we got home. Completely revolutionises opening a bottle of wine. I now look for wine bottles with corks so that I can use this fabulous corkscrew!

Easy to use. Works so much better than other corkscrews

This is hands down the best corkscrew money can buy. Between the lightness, ease of use and the Le Creuset name - this is the triple threat. Easier to use that the winged corkscrews since you use one motion to removed the cork from the bottle and from the screw. The nonstick coating and coil design are also much better for fragile corks and the length means you can easily open any size/type of bottle. Also, it’s an America’s Test Kitchen Top Pick!!
