SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Shield Series Full-Body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Galaxy Note 8 (2017 Release), Black

I've used supcases for a couple of years now, first in a Samsung Note 4 and now in my Note 8. I should really mention that I'm disabled and not that steady on my feet, plus I've always been a bit clumsy. I've seen a couple of my phones break because I've fallen on them or dropped them as I fell. I have used other makes of cases and spent quite a bit of money on them in the hope of keeping my phone in good condition. The Otterbox defender is the only other make that protected my phone after several drops, but I didn't like the way the rubber outer skin got saggy. So I tried Spigen, UAG and Ballistic amongst others. They all failed. Some after 4 or 5 drops/falls, and the most expensive one didn't manage to protect an S4 after a drop from my pocket when I was in my wheelchair! I wasn't happy! When I got my Note 4 I tried using Supcase. I have dropped it more than a dozen times including twice down my stairs. I was very impressed. So impressed I bought an extra case just in case I broke the first. The only reason I used the second was because the back the case got a bit scratched and chewed up when it got crushed in the runner of my car seat. It wasn't broken. It was just not that shiny and had a couple of deep scratches. My phone was not damaged in the least! So when I upgraded to a Note 8 I made sure that I had a Supcase for it before it arrived. The new case seems to fit even better than the ones for the note 4. The plastic shell fits snuggly and perfectly and the rubber shell grips tight and feels safe. It fits around the buttons and gives excellent access to the headphone socket and the USB C port and gives unobstructed access to the S pen. The beautiful curved screen is totally visible and the case protrudes at the top and the bottom of the screen so that the screen doesn't touch a table top when it's face down. Because of the quality, I did the same as before and bought an extra case just in case. As yet it's been dropped 3 times in about 2 months and it's still in perfect condition. And the second case is still unopened in my desk. I cannot recommend these cases highly enough.

Probably the best cases on the market. It is very easy to fit and offers superior protection to your device. I had my previous phone for 8 years and had a supcase to protect it. Never had any issues, despite kida dropping it numerous times. Phone still looked as new when I removed it. With the price of phones now, protection is a must. Only downside is that it does make the phone abit more bulky. But i think its worth that small sacrifice.

I had a different cover and somehow got scratches round my s pen possibly from keys or something in my pocket, obviously im not thrilled about it so i bought this. The screens more responsive than with the tempered glass i had before and the case is very good, fits perfect and i really like the look, considering it comes with screen cover and the clip part if i choose to use that i think the value is hard to beat. the screen cover is a very soft material and just the hard skin on my thumb has scratched it badly, it also makes a wierd rainbow effect where its pressed against the screen. il have to rip it out but due to the way the case fits i doubt a glass protector will fit so il probably have to settle for a wrap round self healing one which i dont like

This, for me, is the best rugged, yet slim'ish case for the Note 8 by far However, there's one caveat, I removed the built in screen protector and used the amFilm tempered glass screen protector in its place and it works superbly as the case doesn't lift the protector off the screen, unlike other cases! Plus you get the solid rubberised case all-in then The built in protector is easy to remove, it just pushes out with some force. It may leave some of the glue behind, so just have patience and peel this away Fit the amFilm tempered glass protector, fit the front of the casing around the phone and then slot it all into the back of the case and you're done! The case is brilliant and will survive more or less all normal accidental drops, not that I'd be brave enough to test. However, I've dropped it onto my drive a few times and in the kitchen (wooden flooring) from about waist height (I'm 6ft 4) and zero issues

This case comes in 3 parts. A screen protector (not a adhesive piece of film or glass). This is a plastic film fixed to a stiff plastic frame that clips over the phone. A rubber sleeve surround and hard plastic back with camera + fingerprint sensor cut out. This covers the back and sides of phone. The screen protector clips into this, its a tight fit (hard to get back off but thats a good thing. It has a cut out for speaker, microphone and s pen access. Additionally there are rubber flaps that cover charging and headphone sockets. A belt clip. This is a plastic "tray" with a belt clip on the rear that your phone (fitted into the screen protector + rubber sleeve) clips into. One clip has a tab to make removing the phone easier. Your phone can be clipped with the screen facing outwards so you can see it or facing in for maximum screen protection. Overall the case feels very robust. I don't really use the belt clip section as it bulks up the phone massively but it's nice to have as extra protection if needed. Without this the case of course bulks up the phone but not to the point it's a nuisance (for me anyway). The screen protector does hinder the use of s pen slightly (more friction and a little less sensitive) but only when drawing/writing for example when pen is used to tap onscreen keyboard it's fine. Finger touch sensitivity seems unaffected. In the past I've always used the flappy folio style cases to protect the screen but this has proven to be an excellent alternative.

Great product . Very strong. My kids have thrown my phone down several times and no damage to phone. Will definitely recommend to others.

It's a pretty good case. Feels very robust. The deal breaker for me was that the front protection was a flimsy film of thin plastic. If it was tough glass I'd love this! But the fact it looked opened previously, just put the nail in the coffin. Sadly returned it.

I bought this as I had one previously with another phone so have the confidence it does what it's designed to do, unike inferior competitors cases. I had a HTC phone and accidentally dropped it from a truck cabin, resulting in zero phone damage and only a chip to the case. I've just upgraded to a Note 8 so bought a case that's been tried and tested by my clumsy hands. The case comprises of a hard screen protector that you clip on the front of your phone then this in turn is clipped into the hard plastic case which results in a snug fitting case that gives all round protection. The case is large but still easily fits in my pocket.There's also a belt clip attachment provided if that's your thing. This is a fantastic case that offers great protection.

spigenのケースから買い換えました。 ゴッツくなって安心を買いました。 スマートさはほとんど無くなります。 note8のスマートな部分がスポイルされますが、安心安全を求めて購入。 非常にいいです。 ガッチリとしています。 本体が長細いので折れたりしないか非常に心配していたので安心です。 重くもなります。 デッカくもなります。 でも安心です。 ☆5にしていますが、点数は90点 前面の樹脂製フィルムが付いてるのは良かったですが、タッチの感度が落ちます。 タップしているのに反応しないことが多々あります。 特に画面の端の方が反応が非常に悪くなります。 画面中央付近はそんなに問題はないですが、やはり裸画面よりも明らかに感度が悪い。 sペンでの書き心地も落ちます。 note8の一番の魅力であるsペンの使用感が落ちるのが非常に惜しいです。 それさえなければ100点満点です。 もうちょっと詰めて欲しかったです。 他のレビュアーさんがおっしゃてる通り、簡単に前面のフィルムを剥がすことが出来るので、剥がして他の良いフィルムを探して 剥がしたいと思います。

I am a mother of a very young toddler. She will be 2yrs old in 3 months. Ever since she could walk she has been terrorizing my cellphones. My toddler will grab my phone, throw it and drop it. I'm also a pretty clumsy person by nature myself. So between me and my little girl, my phone case needs to be able to take beating. I have a Samsung Note 8 and before that I had a Samsung s7. Back when I had my s7 I swore by my lifeproof case because that one could take a beating as well as keep my phone waterproof. I swore I would never get another kind of case. Then I upgraded to this Note 8 and low and behold, Lifeproof doesn't make cases for my phone model. So now I had to find yet another case that could withstand my toddlers activity. I did alot of researching before landing on this one and I decided to wait a few months before posting a review because I wanted to see just how well the phone case would hold up after months of abuse. This phone case has been dropped on the concrete several times, dropped from atleast 5 feet, thrown across the room, thrown on the floor, it's been put through the ringer. My phone is completely intact, my case is not damaged in the slightest. There are no scratches on the case and the screen protector built in has protected my screen for every single drop. This case is AMAZING. There is so much shock protection around the sides, the flaps for the charger port and headphones are super durable and have held up through heavy use. Not a single tear there either. There is no flap for the S pen but the case almost forms like a hard protective cave area around it so that it is fully protected anyway and I have not had any problems with that. I read that others were concerned about the built in screen protector creating a gap between the case screen and the phone screen itself but I have found that my built in screen is actually very snug. So much so that I forget that it is even there. My screen still registers my touch just as well as before. The camera is also protected by a similar hard cave like area around the perimeter of the camera on the outside so that the camera does not risk being shattered either. And still with all of these features it is not incredibly bulky like many cases on the market are. Overall I would say that this is THE case to get if you have small children or know that your case is going to be taking a beating on the daily.

I am an note 8 addict... i used my mobile once without a screenguards ...later it dropped from a 45cm height the display screen got broken at the edge of the mobile...i used the broken mob for 3 months...it was feeling uncomfortable to use...and 4 days before i again bought a new note 8 with the existing one....this time i thought the screenguard is mandatory to prevent the mobile....i searched in amazon and later i saw this case ...but the price was too high...compared to display replacement this one is must to purchase...before purchasing i had lot of doubts about it was worthy or not? Whether it is comfortable or not? And abt screen sensitivity by using touch and S pen ??? After the supcase delivered and it fullfill my overall expectations...i really recommend to buy....i bought pink and grey colour case....looks amazing and sensitivity of touch and S pen was really comfortable...

Die Hülle passt exakt, alle Knöpfe und Anschlüsse sind gut zu benutzen. Man kommt gut an den Stift. Induktives Laden ohne Probleme. Das Telefonieren leidet nicht, der Klang bei mir und beim Gegenübers ist nicht beeinträchtigt. Touchscreen funktioniert (bei mir wieder besser als vorher). Nach 10 Tagen noch keine Kratzer auf der Folie. Die Spiegelung bei Sonne hält sich für mich in Grenzen. Es fühlt sich angenehm an. Das Anbringen fand ich mit Hilfe des Videos einfach, abmachen kann man die Hülle auch wieder, dann eben genauso nur rückwärts 😉. Ich bin sicher, dass ich damit an meinem Handy mindestens (!) noch ein halbes Jahr Freude habe. Jopp, ich habe es anders herum gemacht und eine Hülle gekauft, jetzt wo mein schönes rosegoldenes Handy (ich wollte es auch sehen und das schmale Design genießen) doch vorn und hinten ganz schön angestoßen, ansonsten aber top in Ordnung ist. Ich arbeite halt damit. Die Reparatur ist zu teuer weil zu alt, wäre also finanziell eigentlich ein Totalschaden. Ein neues Handy möchte ich nicht und so habe ich etwas gesucht, dass mein Handy so schützt, dass das Glas nicht noch mehr zerbröselt bzw. reißt. Wasserdicht ist es also eh nicht mehr, aber mit dieser Hülle sieht es einfach wieder top aus, ich kann mit dem Touchscreen wieder arbeiten ohne mit dem Stift an irgendwelchen Kratzern und Rissen hängen zu bleiben. Den zusätzlichen Gürtelhalter habe ich zur Autohalterung umfunktioniert, klasse!
