Excellent product, can't fault it
I tried a couple of these types of microphones before finding this one. This does the job perfectly for the small groups around my laptop that I wanted to use it for. It makes the whole experience a lot smoother and more productive,, without the constant 'I cant hear that person' comments, and everyone huddling closer to my laptop!

This small microphone has an very good range and the quality is crisp and sharp. It comes with a handy zip bag when not in use and the cable has a good reach. Excellent feature to be able to daisy chain it in a larger room. Brilliant for the price!

easy to use and setup but a little echo
I bought this to use with VOIP for my work at home. Love the simplicity and ease of use, fits nicely on my desktop. Only small complaint is that people on the receiving end of the call tell me I sound like I'm in a cave when speaking. Perfectly understandable just a slight negative, only reason why I did not give 5 out of 5

Made a big difference
Bought this to complement a dictaphone that was being used at company meetings, the internal microphones were far too confined to record everyone around the table with any clarity. This has helped out a lot, standard 3.5mm mic connections and a nice domed look to the mesh, this seems to record well with a large group sat around a table. good devide if you need a 360 sound recording option for meetings etc.

Not as what expected
Did not work for intended purposes. Other microphones worked no problem, not sure. If very quiet or simply faulty.

Works well on first trial, should be OK for my needs. Will need to do some more tests with it.

Not plug & play
I did not want to believe the other review saying that it comes without instructions and does not work and hoped that it will simply work by plugging into the microphone input on my MacBook and that would not need any instructions. But after plugging into the input it did not record any sound and remained silent. I also plugged it into a small mixer but the result was the same. I then tried with a PC Laptop but same result. There is a second socket on the device and I suspect that it may is to plug in an external phantom power supply to make it work but on the device itself I did not find any specifications indicated what kind of power (voltage, etc) it might need. I cannot send it back now because I had it been delivered to a London address and I have taken it back to Germany now :-(
