Very expensive. Pure Erythritol as this one affects many people with a cold feeling in your mouth. It needs to be cut with another sweetener to break it down. I bought truvia, which is a mix of Erythritol & stevia & NO cold feeling for me at all. I found truvia the best. Doesn’t appear to have any adverse health effects like aspartame based sweeteners from what I’ve read and doesn’t have the distinctive taste of Stevia, which is what I’ve been using til now while low carb. I need to use 3 tsps to achieve the same sweetness as my 1.5 heaped tsps of sugar in my tea but it tastes exactly the same and no aftertaste. I have found though that there is a very minor aftertaste that gets stuck in your throat if you use it in very large amounts as part of a recipe. Used 250 grams in a chocolate milkshake recipe in 2.5 pints of milk and it does have a very subtle after taste but it’s not offensive at all. Definitely the best sweetener I’ve tried and will be purchasing again.
