F1 Race Stars (Xbox 360)

We purchased this after our daughter (6) played the demo. She thought it was funny and the price was right so we bought a copy. Honestly we have had hours of fun playing this. There is a championship mode where you need to win a series of different races to get a bronze, silver or gold cup and you can race in teams or against each other in mulitplayer mode. There is also a track mode where you only race the one track at a time. We loved it enough to purchase the DLC tracks too. Some of the tracks are challenging - all have hidden shortcuts, and my husband and I suspect there is an element of AI to the game in terms of how well the computer drivers race (the better you get, the harder it is to win). It isn't a serious racing game, just a bit of fun based on the concept of F1 but thoroughly enjoyable.

The game itself is a lot of fun, suitable for all ages, with friends, alone, online, and has online split-screen. There are many customisable options of how to play the game, but there is too much DLC. The DLC is a bit expensive and without it there aren't that many levels to choose.

My husband bought me this as part of my birthday present, Im a huge huge F1 fan and like playing the F1 game but always wanted something to do with F1 thats light hearted and fun. I like Mario Kart and think this game is great, fab game for all the family. Only downside is theres not a track for every F1 race but theres quite alot of different 'modes' to race as, along with most F1 drivers and even some female racers for anyone who would like to be a girl (my 7 year ols daughter loves these characters) All round great game for some fun.

Bought this for our 5 yr old for christmas as he had seen it advertised and loves formula 1, I have to say this is the best christmas present we could have bought him, he loves it as he can choose which F1 driver to be as well as all the different modes to play like normal racing, collecting trophys, having to collect fuel etc. He loves trying to get on the podium. The only downside for me is getting beaten by a 5 yr old.

The game is a lot of fun. The item arrived quickly and once here me & my partner jumped on it straight away. We wanted a fun little game that we could both play together and this game definitely delivered. The different race styles give enough variation so that it doesn't get boring. You can choose from plenty of drivers and they're not just the ones from the real life events. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

This simply is a super charged version of mario kart, on Xbox!! Fun, easy to pick up and play. My 4 yrs old can play and get on the podium, yet when I play, I get cheated at the last corner!! Online play is a bit annoying when some players dont bother racing and just sit on the start line. Great fun all round with tons of replay value. Recommended

If you've enjoyed mario kart on the Wii and have moved onto an Xbox than this is a good replacement. It is almost identical, other than you can choose your favourite F1 team. For girls, there are a few girl drivers available too. This is almost identical to Mario Kart but for some reason, no where near as fun. My boy who is 3.5 years old enjoys watching, though he's not quite old enough to actually race. For an adult, unless you are the massivest Mario Kart fan, I wouldn't bother. It's nothing like a proper racing game and I'm going to be buying Forza 4 for myself. i'm sure my boy will enjoy this when he's a bit older. Hope that helps
