I often help my sister with her event planning business. We often resort to throwing together (at last minute) various gift card and greeting card boxes. We’re pretty crafty, but wrapping up a box with tissue or wrapping paper and fashioning a way to leave notes and cards can sometimes be less than satisfying. We ran across the Merry Expressions Box and it is exactly what we need. It is well made, reasonably priced, and incredibly elegant. The textured paper looks great and it will be a perfect match for your gift table at weddings, graduations, or holiday parties. We got this just in time for a large baby shower that sis was putting together. I wasn’t sure if she had chosen the right satin ribbon color; what I didn’t realize, it comes with ALL the ribbon colors. You can choose to match or contrast with your decor. Even better, the sturdy nature of this event box makes it easy to re-use - and you can choose a different color ribbon for each event. The future-bride at our wedding shower insisted that it be brought back for her wedding reception… (and who knows, maybe one day in the distant future, a baby shower!)

Great quality--sturdy material, easy assembly, and a nice looking finished product. Ribbons are nice and fairly easy to thread through the jeweled buckle. It's a nice touch for a wedding or bridal shower. We're using ours for a baby shower. The mom-to-be requested a dark green ribbon to match the shower's theme so I'll use some ribbon we bought instead of the included color options. It has pre-attached adhesive strips to help secure the box during assembly, but since I'd like to reuse it I won't peel the backing off. It's plenty sturdy without them. I like that it can be stored neatly within the box it came in. We can use it again for an event or the kids can use it to play post office.

Used this for our wedding. The size was large enough to accommodate way more envelopes than we needed. The inclusion of multiple ribbons was a great touch. Our theme was teal, so having a couple blue options was nice. The surface texture of the box is patterned and gives it a higher quality look. It doesn't have any lock and technically someone could just lift the lid off to access the cards, but the fit of the lid is very snug and they'd be obvious if they were doing it because it would required both hands and some maneuvering to get the lid off. I definitely would buy it again and do recommend it.

I purchased this box for my friend who's son passed away. We used it at the repast to hold memory cards guests filled out with their memories of the dearly departed. The box was folded like a book and had sticky peel off tabs to hold the ends together when assembling. Very nice quality and can be used again and again.

The box was beautiful, easy to assemble, and worked great. The adhesive strips intended to be used to hold the box together didn’t work so well. When I tried to peel off the plastic covering the adhesive strips it started to peel the entire strip off the box. I ended up not using the adhesive strips provided and assembled the box without using any adhesive or glue to hold it together, which worked for what I needed. It could have just as easily been assembled with super glue, double sided tape, or a hot glue gun.

My fiancé gave me really only one task for our upcoming wedding that she figured even I couldn't mess up, find a gift card box for our reception. I figured, easy, no problem. Thank you Merry Expressions for proving me right! I was getting nervous choosing one as many reviews on other brands state they are cheaply made and flimsy. This gift card box is the exact opposite. Not only is it extremely high quality, but it is also very sturdy and looks awesome. My fiancé loved all of the ribbon options to decorate the box, and found one of the included ribbons perfectly matched her color scheme she has chosen for the reception. To top everything off, there was a small card inside the packaging (by the way, the packaging is top notch, I couldn't believe when it was delivered that something this affordable would come in such high end packaging!) that stated that Merry Expressions donates $1 from each box sale to fight human trafficking. That was a great surprise, and my fiancé loved that I chose a company that supported and promoted social justice. Not only did I get a high quality product, but I looked great in my fiancé's eyes for choosing such a great company!

I planned an event & a lot more people than I expected showed up! Initially didn't think about it but I'm thankful that this gift box was big enough for all the greeting cards and gift cards. I bet it can fit 80 or 90 cards! It comes in 3 pieces (bottom, top and sides) but is very easy to put together. It's sturdy, great quality and has a nice texture / shine to it. Since the box itself is white, I initially was going to decorate and add my own touch to it, but I ended up just going with the yellow ribbon and it worked perfectly. I'll definitely use it again for a baby shower that I'm hosting next month. This time I'll use the pink ribbon. One friend already asked to borrow it for a graduation party and I suggested using the black ribbon! I totally recommend it.

The box doesn't look all that special in the description pictures, but it is really pretty if you want something with a simple and elegant design. The embossing adds a nice textural touch. It comes with different color ribbons that can be used to match any theme/décor. We used the baby pink for our daughter's christening. It looked beautiful on the gift table with a floral centerpiece and some votive candles. It arrived in 1 business day from Amazon Prime. Easy to assemble, and very sturdy. We kept the box as a keepsake to store the baby's bows and hair accessories. It fit our purposes perfectly. I'm buying this again if I ever need another card box.

Bought this for my wedding. I was a bit skeptical about the shipping because it looked liked it would be quite slow. I ordered anyways, and to my dismay, I got a notification saying that the shipping was delayed unexpectedly even further. I thought I would have to cancel the order, but to my surprise, it came in a lot earlier than the expected delivery date. The box itself is also just so beautiful. No regrets.

This was great. Came with loads of colours to choose from. Easily assembled and solid enough. Great value also Id hand written thank you under the 'cards'
